Abstract

The conical support for a bouquet of flowers, made of plastic produced in the form of an unclosed envelope, is notable in that it is made of a plastic that has shape memory giving it elasticity of deformation, the said support (1) in its initial situation of non-use having its lateral ends (1a) partially overlapping or edge to edge, and able thereafter to be parted in order to accept the bouquet, depending on the size of the latter, the elasticity of the support allowing the bouquet to be gripped and held.

Description

TAPERED SUPPORT FOR FLOWERSBOUQUET

The invention relates to the technical field of media means used for the presentation of bouquets of flowers in stores, and also where appropriate after purchase at home.

Various studies and research have been developed in the past on the design of such supports to ensure a dual function of maintaining the bouquet and protection, while also allowing the maintenance of a reserve of water if necessary.

As such, these supports have been designed to wrap the bouquet by its stem part by providing tabs protruding in vertical projecting projection to penetrate into the thickness of the bouquet. The following patents teach such an implementation: US 2540707 and US 754248. More recently, other supports have been designed with the addition of retaining rings and clamping on the upper part of the neck of the support and / or also with the addition of clamping links: EP 1350451, EP 828446 and FR 2734464.

Other solutions have been proposed with the addition of adhesive fastening means to ensure the closure of the support, for example GB 2128083.

In practice, all the solutions proposed through the aforementioned prior art include the addition of complementary means to ensure the closure of the support, with the addition of links in some cases for the holding of the bouquet. The configuration of the supports is often complex with the forming of folds, so that overall many disadvantages are encountered, cost of manufacture, impractical assembly, large size due to the difficulty of storage media in stacking situations . Another disadvantage lies in the fact that there is little possibility of standardization for different volumes of bouquets, so it is necessary to offer a range of supports of different diameters to be applicable to different volumes of bouquets .

The applicant's approach was therefore to seek another concept of conical support that meets all of these needs, a low manufacturing cost and does not require any mounting manipulation by the user.

The solution proposed by the applicant satisfactorily satisfies all these objectives.

According to a first characteristic of the invention, the conical support of bouquets, made of plastic material established in the form of an unclosed envelope, is characterized in that it is made of a plastic material having a shape memory conferring on it an elasticity of deformation, said support in initial situation of non-use having its lateral ends in partial overlap or edge to edge, and which can then be discarded for receiving the bouquet, depending on the volume of the latter, the elasticity of the support allowing tightening and maintaining the bouquet. These and other characteristics will be apparent from the rest of the description.

For fixing the object of the invention illustrated in a nonlimiting manner to the figures of the drawings where:

- Figure 1 is a view of the support designed according to the invention.

- Figure 3 is a view of the conical support in situation of maintaining a bouquet of small volume.

- Figure 4 is a view of the conical support in situation of maintaining a bouquet of larger volume.

In order to make the object of the invention more concrete, it is now described in a nonlimiting manner illustrated in the figures of the drawings.

The conical support according to the invention is referenced by (1) and it is made of a plastic material with an elastic capacity of deformation and spacing having a shape memory. It is established in the form of an envelope of conical configuration not closed with longitudinal edges (la) likely to come edge to edge (Figure 1) or not with a partial overlap (Figure 3). In its lower part, the support has a cylindrical edge (Ib) with or without an inner bulge (Ia) of stabilization. In its upper part, the support presents directly formed in extension of the tongues (Ic) of maintenance. These tabs are thus an extension of the peripheral edge (Id) upper support. The conical support (1) according to the invention, by its constitution, does not require additional fastening and locking means, as is the case in the prior art. The bouquet of flowers (B) can receive a link (2) possible, but completely independent of the support. The slot (f) corresponding to the opening of the conical support as a function of the volume of the bouquet varies, playing on the elastic deformability of the conical support, and therefore its lateral opening amplitude.

Thus and according to the invention, the conical support is able to adapt without any particular operation, with the exception of its elastic spacing for the reception of bouquets of flowers of any volume.

The overlap of the ends of the envelope is established on a few millimeters. The degree of opening of the conical support is also carried out over a few millimeters, while preserving the maintenance of the bouquet and avoiding any escape rods. This amplitude is sufficient to allow maintenance of bouquets of flowers in large dimensional volumes.

This type of conical supports according to the invention can be stacked and stored very easily. The supports can be decorated. They can be used very easily by the florists in the arrangement and the presentation in store of the flowers, but also in arrangement in the garden.

The solution provided by the applicant is very simple and very low manufacturing cost.
