Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire rapidement du biocarburant, appelé procédé NOBA, dans lequel une réaction de transestérification et une séparation du glycérol se produisent simultanément en se servant de nouvelles configurations de réacteurs. Le procédé NOBA consiste à faire réagir une huile végétale/huile usée avec du méthanol en présence d’un catalyseur homogène (NaOH) dans de nouveaux types de réacteurs dans lesquels la transestérification et la séparation du glycérol se produisent simultanément. Le procédé aboutit à une production rapide de biocarburant à haut rendement. Le procédé utilise en outre une méthode de purification du biocarburant employant de l’eau chaude.
