Definitions

  • the present invention discloses an arrangement which may be used in order to change the orientation, inclination and position of a seat in relation to an undercarriage.
  • the present invention aims at providing an arrangement which is both easy to use re- gardless of the weight of the user, uncomplicated to construct and thereby also simple to maintain, and at the same time allows the inclination of the seat to be changed for example from horizontal to an angle of more than 45° in relation to the horizontal position.
  • the present invention addresses this by providing an arrangement for adjusting the seat's position in relation to a seat carrying structure, wherein the arrangement comprises:
  • first connection member connecting the seat to the chassis, by means of piv- otable joints in either end of the first connection member
  • connection member which is fixed to either the seat or the carrying structure in one end of said second connection member, and which member is provided with an oblong aperture, in which aperture a pin provided on the seat or the carrying structure, may guide and limit the movement of the second connection member;
  • the - adjustable and lockable telescopic means arranged between and fastened to the carrying structure and the seat.
  • the second connection member will slide in relation to the pin such that the seat will rotate about the pivotal joints of the first connection member. In this manner, more than one movement is created.
  • the inclination of the seat is changed due to the slidable movement of the pin in the oblong aperture in the second connection member due to the change of the length of the telescopic means and the length of the first connection member.
