Abstract
Dispositif médical permettant d'appliquer une énergie RF à une ouverture dans un tissu. Dans un mode de réalisation, ce dispositif médical comprend une électrode déformable, laquelle peut comprendre un matériau à mémoire de forme, tel que du NITINOL, qui lui permet de prendre plus facilement au moins une orientation à l'état de repos. L'électrode peut être déployée à partir d'une tige d'amenée dans l'oreillette gauche du coeur. Elle peut être conçue pour épouser sensiblement la forme du tissu à proximité de l'ouverture dans ce dernier. Après application de l'énergie au tissu entre les électrodes gauche et droite, l'électrode gauche peut être retirée de l'oreillette gauche par réintégration dans la tige d'amenée, puis retrait de ladite tige par l'ouverture.
