Claims (8)
- 外科的処置における作業チャネルを拡大するべく組織の開口部を拡張するためのアセンブリであって、
(a)第1の開創器であって、同第1の開創器の先端部および第1の開創器の基端部を含む、前記第1の開創器と、
(b)その先端部に少なくとも2つの開創器の刃の組を備える第2の開創器であって、該2つの開創器の刃の先端間の距離を変化させるべく可逆的に移動する、前記第2の開創器と、
(c)前記第2の開創器と可逆的に係合して同第2の開創器を前記第1の開創器の基端部に挿入するとともに、該第2の開創器に患者の体外からトルクを付与するに先立って該第2の開創器の少なくとも一部を該第1の開創器の先端部を超えて延ばし、これにより外科的処置のための作業チャネルを拡大するために組織の開口部を拡張するべく該2つの開創器の刃の先端間の距離を延ばす開創器挿入器と
を備えることを特徴とするアセンブリ。 - 前記第2の開創器の基端部は、前記第1の開創器の先端部の先端側に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 外科的処置のための作業チャネルを拡大するべく組織の開口部を拡張するために2つの開創器の刃の先端間の距離を延ばすように、前記開創器挿入器が前記第2の開創器に患者の体外からトルクを付与する際に、該第2の開創器の基端部は、第1の開創器の先端部の基端側に保持されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記第2の開創器は、同第2の開創器の大きさにより第1の開創器から外れることを防止するべく2つの開創器の刃の先端間の距離を延ばすことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記第1の開創器の先端部は、別の要素によって部分的に妨害される外科的部位への斜めの外科的アプローチの使用に対して調整されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記第1の開創器の先端部は、第1の開創器の長手方向軸線が脊椎の頭−尾軸線に対して斜状をなして配置されるように腰筋近傍に配置されるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記第2の開創器の刃の組の先端部によって保持される第2の組織の開口部の長手方向中心軸線は、第1の開創器の長手方向軸線に対して斜状をなすことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記開創器挿入器は、外科的処置のための作業チャネルを拡大するべく組織の開口部を拡張するために2つの開創器の刃の先端間の距離を延ばすように、前記第2の開創器に患者の体外から付与される最大のトルクを制限するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
