Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Einrichtung zur Überprüfung der Bildausgabe eines Anzeigegerätes (4) für einen Prozesswert, wobei dem Anzeigegerät (4) eine Grafikkarte (5) vorgeschaltet ist. Es ist vorgesehen, dass einem gemessenen Prozesswert, der von einem Prozesswertgeber (1) kommt, vor der Grafikkarte (5) ein konkretes zusätzliches Bildsymbol in einer Visualisierungseinheit (3) zugeordnet wird. Nach der Grafikkarte (5) und vor dem Anzeigegerät (4) wird das Bild- symbol durch einen Signalanalysator (6) erfasst. Aus dem so erfassten Bildsymbol wird in der Visualisierungseinheit (3) der zugeordnete Prozesswert bestimmt. Der so bestimmte Prozesswert wird mit dem gemessenen Prozesswert in einer Vergleichseinheit (2) verglichen. Bei einem Unterschied wird ein Fehler erkannt.
