Description
MOBILE PRINTING DEVICE IN USE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a mobile printing interface apparatus using a wireless communication between a mobile terminal and a printing device and a printing method using the same, and more particularly to a mobile printing interface apparatus using a wireless communication between a mobile terminal and a printing device and a printing method using the same capable of printing an electric document stored in the mobile terminal as well as implementing the same quality and speed as that of a computer in terms of printing.
[2]
Background Art
[3] Recently, a technique, in that various office documents can be viewed in the mobile terminal, has been developed. Meanwhile, in the mobile terminal, various office documents, a magazine or a newspaper and so on cannot be viewed in the shape of an original document in convention. However, recently, it can be viewed in the various types in the mobile terminal having the small liquid crystal display identically with the shape of the original document, owing to the development of various software techniques.
[4] Recently, in order to store data in the mobile terminal and read the data stored in it, it is necessary to connect a separate data cable between them, thereby performing the data communication through the connected cable. However, since a peripheral device such as a digital camera, a memory card, a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and so on capable of connecting to the mobile terminal has come into rapid use, it is necessary to be directly connected with the mobile terminal for the data transmission.
[5] In the meantime, one of the important functions in PC is a printing function. That is, in the course of viewing various data on the screen of the PC, the necessary data is printed, in order to keep it or see it through printed papers.
[6] However, in order to print the image data stored in the mobile terminal, where the separate data cable is connected between the mobile terminal and the computer, it has difficulty in implementing the printing driver of the mobile terminal. Also, there is a problem in that the image data should be printed through a printing device connected to the computer, next to transmit it to the computer through the connected data cable. Moreover, in order to print the document viewed in the mobile terminal, it is necessary to converge the document into any shape suitable for the printing device. However, since it is impossible to calculate it and request the resource on account of the restrictive resource of the mobile terminal, there are defects in that it is difficult to treat a big file and takes much time to print it.
[7] In order to overcome the problems, a standard such as a PICT bridge was settled, so that the data for printing is converged into a JPG image file to print it. However, there are still problems in that the quality of the printed document remains at a fax printing standard on account of the slow printing speed, the quality deterioration owing to a low resolution thereof and so on.
[8] Also, in order to print the image data by using a printing device of a 1,200DPI class, since the size of the image file is very large in A4 size standard, in a case that the image file generated from the mobile terminal is printed or displayed, its quality is deteriorated in the printing device owing to a forcible enlargement thereof.
[9] Furthermore, since the mobile terminal has a small memory, it has difficulty in transmitting the generated image in size of several hundred megabytes.
[10]
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[11] Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems occurring in the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to provide a mobile printing interface apparatus using a wireless communication between a mobile terminal and a printing device and a printing method using the same, in that encoding and decoding techniques of a document format having a vector font are provided, whereby printing the data stored in the mobile terminal at high quality and speed in the printing device.
[12] Anther object of the present invention is to provide a mobile printing interface apparatus using a wireless communication between a mobile terminal and a printing device and a printing method using the same, in that only a data is transmitted in the mobile terminal and a font decoding and an image decoding is performed in a computer connected to the printing device, so that the resource of the mobile terminal is saved, the quality thereof is high and the printing time is shortened.
[13] Further anther object of the present invention is to provide a mobile printing interface apparatus using a wireless communication between a mobile terminal and a printing device and a printing method using the same, in that the font of the file is rendered in a vector form, so that the printing quality of the computer is the same as that of the mobile terminal while the computer does not have the same font. [15] Preferably, the receiving file conversion part converges the received file into any file of a PCL type or a Postscript type capable of interpreting in the printing device.
[16] Preferably, if the printing operation is completed, the printing end is checked and the document is deleted at the same time or the success or failure thereof is transmitted to the mobile terminal through the wireless communication part in the receiving data determination part.
[17] Preferably, a font of the received file is rendered in a vector form in the receiving file conversion part.
[18] To accomplish the objects, the present invention provides a mobile printing method between a mobile terminal and a printing device using a wireless communication analyzing as to whether a data received from the mobile terminal is a file for printing or not by means of the receiving data determination part; extracting a vector information and a word code of the corresponding word from the receiving file analyzing step and font-decoding the word; decoding an image of corresponding image data; and converting the decoded data into any type capable of printing.

[36] However, in the conventional apparatus for outputting an image data of a mobile terminal, since it is in need of the printing connecting means corresponding to the input/output port connecting means of the mobile terminal 100, the printing connecting means must be mounted on the printing device 200 during the manufacturing thereof. That is, since it is necessary to mount the printing connecting means thereon from the beginning, the manufacturing cost is increased. Also, there is a problem in that another printing device except for the printing device having the connecting means cannot be communicated with the mobile terminal for transmitting and receiving the data.

[44] The bluetooth or IrDA communication ports can be directly mounted on the wireless communication part 410, which is communicated with the mobile terminal having the bluetooth or IrDA communication ports.
[45] The receiving data determination part 420 detects whether the corresponding document format is received or not (for example, one time per several seconds) and loads the corresponding data together with an option file in a case that the corresponding document is arrived.
[46] The receiving file conversion part 430 analyzes the loaded data from the receiving data determination part 420 and converges the loaded data into any data capable of interpreting in the printing device to be transmitted.
