<2i> A preferred embodiment of the invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
<22> FIG. 1 is a block diagram illustrating a mobile interface apparatus using a wireless communication between a mobile terminal and an external display device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
<23> As shown in FIG. 1, the mobile interface apparatus 100 using a wireless communication between a mobile terminal and an external display device including the mobile terminal having a bluetooth port or an IrDA (Infrared Data Association) port, a computer having a bluetooth port or an IrDA port and the external display device directly connected to the computer or connected to the computer through a network comprises a wireless communication part 110 for communicating with the mobile terminal having the bluetooth port or the IrDA port, a memory part 130 for storing a received data from the wireless communication part 110, a receiving data determination part 120 for determining as to whether the received data is a file for
displaying on a liquid crystal display of the external display device or a data for transmitting a command signal such as up and down or right and left scrolls, a page moving and so on, a receiving file conversion part 140 for conversing the received file into any data for displaying on the liquid crystal display of the external display device, a display command execution part 150 for controlling the up and down or the right and left scrolls, the page moving and so on of the external display device in a case that the received data is a data for transmitting the command, a transmission part 160 for transmitting the converged file converged through the receiving file conversion part 140 to the external display device, a display part 170 for displaying the converged file converged through the receiving file conversion part 140 on the liquid crystal display of the external display device, a power part 180 for supplying a power to the above parts, and a CPU 190 electrically connected to the above parts and serving to control the above parts over all .
<24> Here, the receiving file conversion part 140 converges the received file into a data containing any color and image form capable of interpreting in the external display device.
<25> Also, in the wireless communication part 110 for taking charge of the bluetooth or IrDA communication with the mobile terminal, first of all, it is necessary to have the bluetooth or IrDA communication functions. The bluetooth or IrDA communication techniques are well-known in the arts.
<26> Moreover, the mobile interface apparatus 100 also has the bluetooth or IrDA communication modules like the mobile terminal.
<27> Here, a presentation terminal part (not shown) connected to a terminal of the external display device can be applied to a component video terminal, which is connected to the computer.
<28> Also, the presentation terminal part (not shown) can be applied to a RGB terminal and an audio terminal.
<29> It is preferable that a presentation terminal part (not shown) is connected to the terminal of the external display device through a cable.
<30> The presentation file received from the mobile terminal comes to the mobile interface apparatus 100 according to the present invention through communication channels. Also, the received data is stored in the memory part 130.
<3i> Here, the memory may be a ram memory or a small hard disk.
<32> The received data is converged into any file for displaying according to the framing shape of the data. The receiving file includes a logic for decoding the received data and conversing it in the form of displaying on the external display device.
<33> Here, it defines the converged file, which is converged into any data for displaying on the liquid crystal display of the external display device, as a temporary file.
<34> In case of generating the temporary file in the conventional mobile terminal, for example, where the electronic document of about lMega is converged in the form of an image for displaying, its capacity become larger over scores of megabytes, so that the transmission speed and time grow longer. Accordingly, in order to improve the problem, the temporary file is converged and generated through the computer of the present invention and is transmitted to the display device. Therefore, the transmission speed and time can be considerably fastened and shortened respectively.
<35> The received file for displaying on the external display device received from the receiving file conversion part 140 includes a font, size and color information of words, font data information, each image information and so on. The present invention can be displayed by means of the above information.
<36> Also, in the present invention, it is possible to control the mobile interface apparatus according to the operation of the key of the mobile terminal .
<37> In other words, it can control the external display device for the presentation by means of the manipulation of the key of the mobile terminal. Also, it can be adjusted to the resolution of the external display device for
the presentation, not that of the mobile terminal. That is, as though the mobile terminal has the resolution of a QVGA class, in a case that the external display device has the resolution of a XVGA class provided by a LCD projector, it can be converged into the resolution of the XVGA class through the interface apparatus according to the present invention to be displayed.
<38> FIG. 2 illustrates an application example of a mobile interface apparatus between a mobile terminal and an external display device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
<39> As shown in FIG. 2, the user chooses the presentation file in the mobile terminal 300.
<40> That is, when the user chooses the presentation file and presses the execution key in the mobile terminal 300, the file is transmitted to the mobile interface apparatus 100 and is stored in the memory part 130. Thereafter, the stored file is converged into the temporary file for displaying by means of the operation of the receiving file conversion part 140.
<4i> For example, where the mobile terminal has any file written by a specific document format, the file is chose and transmitted to the memory 130 of the mobile interface apparatus 100. Then, when the transmission is completed, the corresponding file is converged into the temporary file for displaying through the receiving file conversion part 140.
<42> Continuously, where the corresponding file is converged into the temporary file, a first page thereof is sent to the projector 200 or the external display device.
<43> That is, when the user chooses the file in the mobile terminal 300, by way of the above steps, the first page of the file is displayed on the screen of the external display device, which is connected to the PC. The user can move to the next page of the file displayed on the screen by using the key of the mobile terminal 300.
<44> That is, the user presses the arrow key (->) of the mobile terminal 300 and it reaches the mobile interface apparatus 100 through a wireless
communication part (not shown). Thereafter, the receiving data determination part 120 determines whether the received data is a page moving command signal for moving to the next page or not and then, allows the next page of the corresponding file to be displayed.
<45> Here, when the user presses the arrow key (<-) of the mobile terminal 300, it can return to the head page.
<46> Also, by using specific keys of the mobile terminal 300, where the command signals such as up and down or right and left scrolls and so on are transmitted, the receiving data determination part 120 checks it and allows the signals to be transmitted to the receiving file conversion part 140 and then, the receiving file conversion part 140 allows the display area of the screen to be changed by the appointed scroll area.
<47> FIG. 3 is a flow chart illustrating a process of treating a file received from a computer in a mobile interface apparatus between a mobile terminal and an external display device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
<48> FIG. 4 illustrates a font encoding process of a document format used in a display method between a mobile terminal and an external display device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
<49> FIG. 5 illustrates a font decoding process among a display method between a mobile terminal and an external display device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
<50> FIG. 6 illustrates a vector information decoding process of a corresponding word among a display method between a mobile terminal and an external display device according to one embodiment of the present invention.
