Definitions
- the invention relates to a method and a device for notifying a network unit connected to a surveillance camera monitoring an area via an analogue data network in the case of an event to be detected by the surveillance camera.
- Video surveillance systems usually consist surveil ⁇ monitoring cameras, which are connected to memory units for storing the recorded video data and / or monitors for displaying the recorded video data via a data network.
- an analog or digital can be ⁇ Since tennetz such as a packet-switching Kommunikati ⁇ onsnetz used as a data network.
- the monitoring cameras can processing unit such as a computer with a proces ⁇ , a server, etc. are connected, which can process the images captured by the monitoring camera video data.
- processing units can detect movements (motion detection), observe objects such as persons, vehicles, doors, windows, parking spaces etc. (tracking) etc.
- video images or video data usually become analog transferred to then be displayed on video walls with multiple monitors and / or stored analog or digital. It is often left to the observer to evaluate and interpret the video images. Since images can all from multiple cameras coming not gleichzei ⁇ tig shown on a video wall, but are sequentially displayed (in groups), it can it can easily happen that events can not be displayed or can not be perceived.
- the object of the present invention is to be seen in a simple and efficient way to Be ⁇ nachrichtist a network unit in a detect by a surveillance camera event propose.
- a core of the invention can be seen in the fact that the events recorded by a digital surveillance camera with respect to events to be detected in the surveillance camera are at least partially evaluated.
- ⁇ to detect one case of a positive evaluation result, ie in the detection of the event is transferred to the video data at least an indication ⁇ date added and an analog data network to a network device.
- a to be detected event can be, for example, a movement in the monitored area, a fire, smoke, stopped vehicles, moving vehicles (SMV wrong fah ⁇ -saving (in the opposite direction, wrong-way driver), etc.), monitoring of niches (tunnel slots), tampering with the surveillance camera such as the cover of the camera, the opening of the housing, the rotation (change in the visible or of the monitored area) of the camera, to be monitored ⁇ chender object, such as a car, a Door, a window, an entrance lock, a parking lot, a building, a staircase, etc., a person to be monitored, etc. act.
- the surveillance camera such as the cover of the camera, the opening of the housing, the rotation (change in the visible or of the monitored area) of the camera, to be monitored ⁇ chender object, such as a car, a Door, a window, an entrance lock, a parking lot, a building, a staircase, etc., a person to be monitored, etc. act
- the video data may also be via a packet switching communication network such as an IP communication network, a mobile communication network are transmitted, etc.. This can be done parallel to the analog transmission of the video data including the at least one reference date.
- a processing unit such as a processor unit (DSP), a host processor, etc.
- DSP processor unit
- the digital video data is converted an indication date into analog signals with the least and gene via an analogue data network to the network unit übertra ⁇ . It is also conceivable that the evaluated video data is encoded and / or are temporarily stored in a memory unit of the monitoring camera.
- the stored encoded video data is then decoded again by means of a decoding unit.
- a decoding unit As power I ⁇ uniform, an image output device, a monitor, a consciousness ⁇ advises a video projector, a mobile image output apparatus, a video data processing device (computer, server, etc.), a network storage unit etc. may be used.
- the evaluation of the digitally recorded video data can be performed automatically by the camera depending on events, lighting conditions, environmental influences, etc. It can be for the Evaluation of a Falschmaschineeinblendung to highlight certain features, a superposition of stored video data, a contrast increase of the video data, etc. are performed.
- An essential advantage of the invention is that a digital surveillance camera, which has a possibility of at least partially evaluating digitally recorded video data, can be integrated into existing analog monitoring systems.
- analog Matterwachungssys ⁇ simple, efficient and cost-effective systems to changing Si ⁇ cherheits needs to be adjusted.

- FIG. 1 shows the architecture of a surveillance camera SC according to the invention.
- the surveillance camera SC according to the invention consists of a combination of a digital surveillance camera SC, an image processing / video evaluation unit or processing unit VE and with digital as well as analog / composite video output.
- Digitally recorded video data are at least partially evaluated by the processing unit VE with regard to an event to be detected.
- a positive evaluation result ie the detection of an event, at least one reference date is added to the video data.
- Video information and the at least one indication ⁇ date are converted by a digital / analog converter D / A into analog signals and an analog data network by means of a transmitting unit to a network unit ANVE, M such case ⁇ a monitor M game transmitted.
- a network unit ANVE, M such case ⁇ a monitor M game transmitted.
- the evaluated video data over a packet-switching communication network to a network unit NVE, NSPE, M are passed the revermit ⁇ telnden communication network.
- Such network unit can NVE computer, server NVE, Speichereinhei ⁇ th NSPE or more network processing units NVE be.
- the video data could be evaluated more forcefully or by other means.
- a processing unit PU By using a processing unit PU, it is now possible to evaluate digitally recorded video data and to present events in analo ⁇ gen image output devices M by means of fade of alphanu ⁇ preneurial text or acoustic signals.
- Existing analog surveillance systems CCTV
- CCTV can be adapted to the increasing security requirements by using the surveillance camera SC according to the invention. In this case, only those surveillance cameras SC must be exchanged selectively, in which a corresponding image ⁇ processing / video evaluation is desired. Apart from the surveillance camera SC and possibly the connected Network unit M, no further intervention in the consist ⁇ de surveillance system necessary.
- the processing unit VE of the inventive surveil ⁇ monitoring camera SC can men variousssen kausalgorith- or perform Auswertmethodiken.
- the algorithms required for the evaluation can be downloaded via, for example, the packet-switching communication network. This simplifies the maintenance and the updating of the surveillance camera according to the invention. For example, sabotage detection or manipulation detection can detect that the surveillance camera SC has been twisted, covered, darkened, etc. Be a entspre ⁇ sponding warning message or an indication date can then into the picture superimposed on the captured image is displayed (see Figure 3).
- the analog video data is transmitted and displayed via the existing monitoring system by means of a transmission unit SE. By displaying the notice date, a viewer can take appropriate action.
- surveillance camera SC it is also conceivable for surveillance camera SC according to the invention to process the recorded video data as a function of events to be detected, light conditions or other environmental influences (eg by means of false color highlighting to highlight certain features, superposition of stored images, increase in contrast, etc.).
