例えば、このガラス板を積層して輸送する際に、隣接するガラス板の間でずれが生 じ、ガラス板表面にキズが生ずる場合がある。また、保管および輸送雰囲気中の有機 物がガラス板表面に吸着し、ガラス板表面が汚染される場合がある。この有機物 (汚 染物質)は、水洗のみではその表面から除去することは困難であり、例えば酸やアル カリを用いて洗浄する必要がある。しかし、この場合、洗浄時の作業環境は悪化し、 洗浄および廃液処理コストも増大する。さらに、このような洗浄を行っても有機物をガ ラス板表面力 完全に除去することは困難である。
[0004] このような保管、輸送中のキズゃ汚染を防止する方法として、積層するガラス板の 間に合紙を挟み込み、隣接するガラス板表面を保護する方法が考えられる。
しかし、このような合紙を挟み込む方法では、合紙がガラス板表面と直接接触する ため、合紙の榭脂成分がガラス板表面に転写され、ガラス板表面を汚染するという別 の問題が生じる。
[0005] そこで、これを回避するため、現状では榭脂成分の含有量が少な 、合紙を用いる などの方法が取られて 、る。
しかし、合紙力 の榭脂成分転写量を精密に制御することは事実上極めて困難で あり、また、このような合紙は普通紙に比べると価格が高ぐコストアップの要因となつ ている。また、合紙を用いること自体のコストアップも否定できない。
[0006] このような問題に関連した従来法として、例えば、特許文献 1〜2に記載の方法があ る。
[0007] 特許文献 1には、表面の一部又は全部が、 30°C以上の温水で溶解する水溶性物 質力 なる保護膜によって被覆されてなることを特徴とするガラス製品が記載されて いる。そして、このガラス製品の具体例として、板ガラス、瓶ガラス、電子部品用ガラス 、フラットパネルディスプレイ用ガラス、ブラウン管用ガラスが挙げられている。
また、水溶性物質は、エステル、エステル重合体、アルコール重合体、エステル 'ァ ルコール共重合体及びこれらの混合物力 なる群力 選択された 1種又は 2種以上 が好適であると記載されて 、る。
そして、このガラス製品は、表面に水溶性物質カゝらなる保護膜が形成されてなるた め、ガラス製品に加わる傷の発生を抑えることができ、また、ガラス製品の表面に汚染 物が飛来しても、保護膜を介してガラス製品に付着し、直接ガラス表面に付着するこ とはなく、 30°C以上の温水によってガラス製品を洗浄すれば、汚染物を保護膜ととも に除去することができると記載されて 、る。
[0008] また、特許文献 2には、表面の一部又は全部に、水溶性物質力もなる保護膜が塗 布形成されてなるガラス製品において、前記水溶性物質が、平均重合度 600以下、 酸ィ匕度 40モル%以上のポリビュルアルコール力もなることを特徴とするガラス製品が 記載されている。そして、このガラス製品の具体例として、板ガラス、瓶ガラス、電子部 品用ガラス、フラットパネルディスプレイ用ガラス、ブラウン管用ガラスが挙げられてい る。
そして、このようなガラス製品は、保護膜によって表面の損傷や汚染を有効に防止 することができ、また保護膜中にアルカリ成分が含まれないため、アルカリ成分によつ て表面が侵食されることがなぐしかもこの保護膜は、水溶性塩類からなる保護膜に 比べて水溶解度が低いため、ガラス表面に結露が発生しても、溶解し難いという長所 を有して!/、ると記載されて 、る。

発明の開示
発明が解決しょうとする課題
[0009] しかし、特許文献 1〜2に記載されている方法を無アルカリガラス板に適用し、その 表面に水溶性物質等力 なる膜を形成した場合、後の水洗のみでは完全に除去す ることができず、この無アルカリガラス板に形成された電気回路等に、断線やパター ユング不良、誤作動を発生する場合があった。
[0010] さらに、近年、ガラス基板の大型化 ·高精細化が進んでいる。特に、液晶ディスプレ ィ等の誤作動の発生割合は、近年のガラス基板の高精細化とともに高まっている傾 向にある。液晶ディスプレイ等の誤作動の一つの原因は、上記の水溶性物質等の無 アルカリガラス表面での残存と推定されており、水溶性物質はなるべく無アルカリガラ ス表面にぉ 、て残存しな 、ことが望まれて 、る。
[0011] このように、液晶ディスプレイ等に用いるガラス板は、他のガラスと比較して特に高 い表面特性が要求されており、特許文献 1〜2に記載されているようなガラス表面に 塗布等する水溶性物質の、ガラス板用保護剤としての性能改善が、近年益々高まつ ている。
[0012] 従って、本発明は、液晶ディスプレイ等の部材に用いる無アルカリガラス板の保存、 輸送中のキズゃ汚れを防ぎ、従来と比べて簡便に、かつ、より完全に水洗除去するこ とができ、これを用いて製造した液晶ディスプレイ等の誤作動の発生率が、従来と比 ベて格段に低ぐ大型のガラス板に適用した場合であっても、その効果を発揮可能な 無アルカリガラス板用の保護剤、無アルカリガラスの表面にこの保護剤で形成された 保護膜を有する保護膜付きガラス板、およびそれを積層させたガラス積層体を提供 するものである。
課題を解決するための手段
[0013] 本発明者は、上記のような特許文献 1〜2に記載されているような従来法を適用し た無アルカリガラス板を用いて製造した液晶ディスプレイ等が誤作動したり、形成した 膜が水洗のみでは完全に除去できな!/、原因を検討した。
そして、その原因は、無アルカリガラス板の表面に塗布等する水溶性物質等の種類 にあり、特定の水溶性物質を用いれば、このような問題を解決できることを見出した。
[0014] すなわち、本発明は次の(1)〜(9)を提供するものである。
( 1)水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩を含み、かつ無アルカリである無アルカリガラス板用 保護剤。
(2)水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩を含み、かつ無アルカリである保護膜を、無アルカリ ガラス板の少なくとも一方の主面上に有する保護膜付きガラス板。
(3)前記水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩が、糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩である上記 (2)に記載の保護膜付きガラス板。
(4)前記糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩力 多糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩であ る上記 (3)に記載の保護膜付きガラス板。
(5)前記多糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩力 アルギン酸アンモ-ゥムである上記( 4)に記載の保護膜付きガラス板。

発明の効果
[0016] このような保護剤を用いて表面に保護膜を形成した液晶ディスプレイ等用無アル力 リガラス板、およびそれを積層させたガラス積層体は、保存、輸送中のキズゃ汚れが 防止されている。また、従来と比べて簡便に、かつより完全にその保護膜を水洗除去 することができ、ガラス表面の清浄性を復活できる。また、これを用いて製造した液晶 ディスプレイ等の誤作動の発生率を、従来と比べて格段に低くできる。さらに、そのガ ラス板が大型の場合であっても、その効果を発揮できる。

発明を実施するための最良の形態
[0019] 本発明は、水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩を含み、かつ無アルカリである無アルカリガ ラス板用保護剤である。なお、無アルカリガラスとは、実質的にアルカリ分が含まれて いないガラスを意味する。
つまり、本発明は、液晶ディスプレイ等用の無アルカリガラス板の表面に塗布等して
、このガラス板の表面に保護膜を形成するために用いる、溶液中に水溶性無アルカリ 有機酸塩を含み、かつ無アルカリである保護剤である。
このような保護剤を、以下では「本発明の保護剤」とも!、う。
[0020] 本発明の保護剤は無アルカリである力 この「無アルカリ」とは、本発明の保護剤中 に実質的にアルカリ成分を含有していないことを意味する。具体的には本発明の保 護剤の全質量に対してアルカリ成分含有率が 50ppm以下であることを意味し、 ΙΟρρ m以下、特に 5ppm以下であることが好ましい。
従って、本発明の保護剤に含まれる「水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩」自体のアルカリ 成分含有率は、本発明の保護剤が実質的にアルカリ成分を含有しない範囲である。
[0021] なお、この本発明の保護剤中のアルカリ成分の含有率は、本発明の保護剤を乾燥 させた後、濃硝酸および濃硫酸を用いて湿式分解を行い、得られた液を適宜希釈し て ICP発光分析にて測定した値である。
[0022] また、「アルカリ」とは、アルカリ金属元素(リチウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、ルビジウム、 セシウム、フランシウム)を意味する。 保護剤における「無アルカリ」とは、保護剤中 にこれらのアルカリ金属元素を実質的に含有していないことを意味する。なお、無ァ ルカリガラスの「無アルカリ」とは、後述するように、ガラスにアルカリが実質的に含有さ れていないことを意味する。
[0023] また、「水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩」の「有機酸」とは、酸の性質をもつ有機化合物 であり、カルボキシル基、スルホン酸基等を有する有機化合物である。
また、「有機酸塩」とは、このカルボキシル基ゃスルホン酸基等の水素原子の一部ま たは全部力 陽イオン (アンモ -ゥムイオン、金属イオン等)で置換された構造を有す る有機化合物である。
[0024] また、「水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩」における「水溶性」とは、これを含む保護剤を無 アルカリガラス板に塗布等して形成した保護膜が、水洗除去することができるほどの 溶解性を有することをいう。
ここで、「水洗除去することができる」とは、「水洗処理」により、「水とガラス板表面と の接触角が 15度以下となる」ようにすることができ、かつ X線光電子分光法 (XPS)に よる表面分析を行った場合、この保護膜の構成成分が検出下限以下 (0. 1原子%以 下)となるほど、水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩の残存率が低いことをいう。液晶、 PDPや 有機 EL、無機 EL、フィールドェミッションディスプレイ、蛍光表示管といったフラット パネルディスプレイにおいては、その性能を確保する点で、非常に高い清浄性が要 求されている。この点で、水洗除去することができる構成成分の保護剤を用いた保護 膜を形成することが重要である。
[0025] ここで「水洗処理」とは、この水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩を含む保護剤を用いて、ガ ラス板上に形成した保護膜を、通常の方法 (例えば、 20°Cの温度の水を 3リットル Z 分で 30秒間、一般的な家庭用のシャワー等を用いて、ガラス板上の保護膜にかける 方法)で水洗することをいう。このような水洗処理を、以下では特に「水洗処理 A」とも いう。
[0026] また、ここで「水とガラス板表面との接触角が 15度以下となる」とは、 JIS— R3257 ( 1999年)における滴下法により測定した接触角が 15度以下となることをいう。このよう な JIS— R3257による接触角の測定方法を、以下では「接触角測定法 A」ともいう。な お、本発明において単に接触角といえば、全てこの方法により測定した接触角である 。なお、接触角は、 10度以下、特に 5度以下が好ましい。 [0027] 本発明の保護剤は、このような水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩を後述する実質的にァ ルカリ成分を含まない溶液中に含有し、後述する水溶性膜構成成分や、その他の成 分を含む場合であっても実質的にアルカリ成分を含まない。従って、本発明の保護 剤は、実質的にアルカリ成分を含有しない。
また、本発明の保護剤は、液晶ディスプレイ等の製造に用いる無アルカリガラス板 の保存、輸送中のキズゃ汚れを防ぎ、従来と比べて簡便に、かつ、より完全にガラス 板表面力 水洗除去することができる。これにより、保護剤が水洗除去された無アル カリガラス板を用いて製造した液晶ディスプレイ等の誤作動の発生率が、従来と比べ て格段に低い。
[0028] ここで、本発明の保護剤力もなる保護膜は、従来と比べて簡便に、かつ、より完全 に、ガラス板表面力も水洗除去することができる。その程度は、例えば、特許文献 2に 記載されて 、るようなポリビュルアルコール (PVA)からなる膜を水洗する場合と比較 して格段に高い。具体的には、この PVA力 なる膜に上記の水洗処理 Aを施し、接 触角測定法 Aにより接触角を測定すると、その値は 20〜30度程度となる。特許文献 1に記載されて 、るような酢酸ビュル ·ビュルアルコール重合体であっても同様である さらに後述するような XPSにより測定した場合でも、 PVAカゝらなる膜をガラス板表面 に形成し水洗した場合、そのガラス板表面にわずかに PVAが残存することを、本発 明者は確認した。
一方、本発明の保護剤をガラス板表面に塗布して膜を形成した後、同条件で水洗 した場合、本発明の保護剤は、ほぼ完全に除去されており残存していない。本発明 者は、上記のように接触角を測定し、その値が 15度以下となることおよび XPSの検 查から、これを確認した。
[0029] 本発明の保護剤において、上記の水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩は、糖類の無アル力 リカルボン酸塩であることが好ましい。理由は、ガラス板に塗布した場合に、より簡便 に均一な保護膜を形成し、塩であるために酸に比べて水への溶解速度が大きぐ水 洗による除去が容易だ力もである。有機酸塩はイオン性であるため (陽イオンと陰ィォ ンの結合力 なる)、水中では容易に両イオンに分離し高 、溶解度を示すため好まし い。
[0030] ここで、糖類とは、主として次に示す単糖類、少糖類、および多糖類である。
ガラス板の表面に塗布して形成した、これらの糖類を含む保護膜は水洗除去するこ とができる。つまり、上記の水洗処理 Aを行えば、接触角測定法 Aの測定結果は接触 角が 15度以下となり、かつ XPSによる表面分析を行った場合、保護膜の構成成分が 検出下限以下となる。
[0031] この単糖類としては、例えば、グルコース、フルクトース、ガラクトース等が挙げられ る。
また、「単糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸」とは、例えば、ゥロン酸 (ガラタツロン酸、グ ルクロン酸、ィズロン酸等)等であってアルカリ成分を実質的に含有しないものが挙げ られる。
さらに、「単糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩」とは、例えば、このゥロン酸のカルボキ シル基の一部または全部力 陽イオン (アンモ -ゥムイオン、金属イオン(Ca、 Mgな ど)など)等で置換されたものが挙げられる。
[0032] また、少糖類としては、例えば、ショ糖、マルトース、乳糖等が挙げられる。
[0033] また、この糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩は、多糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩で あることが好ましい。理由は、ガラス板に塗布した場合に、より簡便に均一な保護膜を 形成し、塩であるために酸に比べて水への溶解速度が大きぐ水洗による除去が容 易だ力 である。
[0034] ここで、多糖類としては、ホモ多糖であってもへテロ多糖であってもよい。
具体的には、ホモ多糖であれば、例えば、デンプン、グリコーゲン、セルロース、ィヌ リン、マンナン等が挙げられる。ヘテロ多糖であれば、例えば、ダルコマンナン、寒天 等が挙げられる。
また、「多糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸」としては、例えば、アルギン酸、ヒアルロン 酸、コンドロイチン、へパリン等が挙げられる。
さらに、「多糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩」とは、例えば、このアルギン酸、ヒアルロ ン酸、コンドロイチン、へパリン等のカルボキシル基の一部または全部力 陽イオン( アンモ-ゥムイオン、金属イオンなど)等で置換されたものが挙げられる。 [0035] さらに、この多糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩は、アルギン酸アンモ-ゥムであるこ とが好ましい。保護膜として必要な厚さで容易にガラス板表面に均一に塗布すること ができ、し力も、水洗により、より容易に、より完全にガラス板上から除去することがで きるからである。また、材料コストが安価であり、生分解性も高いことから環境にも優し い材料であり、工業的用途には適切であるからである。
なお、アルギン酸塩が水洗で容易に除去できる理由は、(1)分子内にアルコール 性 OHの量が少なくガラス表面との相互作用が小さく吸着残留しにくいこと、(2)カル ボキシル基がアンモ-ゥム塩となることで水への溶解量、溶解速度が大きいこと、 (3) 結晶性の塩は結晶化する際に粒界が生じてミクロな隙間が出来るため、分子レベル では表面を完全に覆うことができな 、が、アルギン酸塩はイオン性ポリマーで非結晶 性のため粒界は存在せず、皮膜となって均一に表面を覆うことができること、と推定し ている。なお、アルギン酸は、骨格はブドウ糖ではなぐゥロン酸の骨格を有する。
[0036] ここで、本発明の保護剤の粘度は、 20°C、 pH6— 8において 350〜500mPa' sで あることが好ましい。このような粘度であれば、水洗により、より容易に、より完全にガラ ス基板上から除去することができ、さらに、保管、輸送中に発生する結露では溶解さ れない保護膜を形成することができるからである。また、本発明の保護剤は、ゲルィ匕 して 、な 、ことが、水洗後のガラス板の清浄性に優れる点で好ま 、。
[0037] 本発明の保護剤は上記のような水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩であれば、その 2種以 上を含んでもよい。その場合であっても、本発明の範囲内である。
[0038] このような本発明の保護剤は、上記のような水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩を、溶液 (溶 媒と、水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩と、後述する水溶性膜構成成分と、後述するその他 の成分との混合物)中に、その効果を奏する任意の比率で含有すればよい。水溶性 無アルカリ有機酸塩の保護剤中の含有量は、 0. 005-90. 00質量%であることが 好ましく、 0. 005〜5. 0質量0 /0であること力 Sさらに好ましく、 0. 005〜3. 0質量0 /0で あることが最も好ましい。このような濃度であれば、乾燥後の保護膜の膜厚調整およ び水洗時の保護膜の除去が容易であり、コスト、廃液処理の観点からも好ましい。
[0039] ここで、水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩を溶かす溶媒は、実質的にアルカリ成分を含有 していないものであり、水であることが好ましぐ蒸留水、イオン交換水などの実質的 にアルカリ成分を含有していない水であること力 さらに好ましい。水であれば、ガラ ス板に塗布後、さらに、保護膜形成時に発生する廃液の処理も簡便であるので、ェ 業上有利であるからである。
[0040] また、本発明の保護剤は、上記のように水等を溶媒とし、上記の水溶性無アルカリ 有機酸塩を含有するが、本発明の保護剤は実質的にアルカリ成分を含有しなければ 、水溶性膜構成成分やその他の成分を含有してもよい。
[0041] 水溶性膜構成成分とは、水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩以外の物質であって、ガラス 板上に塗布した場合膜を構成し、かつある程度の水溶性を有する成分であり、具体 的には、水溶性高分子、水溶性有機塩および水溶性無機塩カゝら選択される 1種以上 が好ましい。なお、水溶性膜構成成分が保護剤に入っている場合であっても、本発 明の保護剤は無アルカリである必要がある。水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩と水溶性膜 構成成分とが本発明の保護剤中に混合して入って!/ヽる場合、水溶性無アルカリ有機 酸塩の割合は、水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩と水溶性膜構成成分との合量に対して 5 0質量%以上、特に 80質量%以上であることが好ましぐさらには実質的に 100質量 %であることが好ましい。なお、この水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩の割合は、後述する 本発明の保護膜付きガラス板における保護膜の場合も同様である。
ここで、水溶性高分子としては、例えば、ヒアルロン酸、トレハロース、プルランであり 、水溶性無機塩としては、例えば、炭酸塩、硝酸塩、硫酸塩、リン酸塩、珪酸塩、ホウ 酸塩等が例示され、具体的には炭酸アンモニゥム塩、硝酸アンモニゥム塩、硫酸アン モニゥム塩、リン酸アンモニゥム塩、珪酸アンモニゥム塩、ホウ酸アンモニゥム塩等を 挙げることができる。
[0042] その他の成分としては、例えば、界面活性剤、分散剤、消泡剤、帯電防止剤などを 含有することができる。
実質的にアルカリ成分を含有しない界面活性剤としては、例えば、ポリオキシェチ レンォレイルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンラウリルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンノ- ルフエ-ルエーテルを挙げることができる。
このような界面活性剤を本発明の保護剤に含有すれば、無アルカリガラス板の表面 に塗布等する際に、より均一な厚さに保護膜を形成することができるので好ましい。 [0043] 本発明の保護剤は、このようなその他の成分を、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲 で含有することができるが、その保護剤 (溶液)中、 0. 001〜1質量%であることが好 ましく、 0. 005〜0. 5質量%であることがさらに好ましぐ 0. 01-0. 1質量%である ことが最も好ましい。
[0044] このような本発明の保護剤を、後述する無アルカリガラス板の少なくとも一方の主面 上に塗布等して保護膜を形成することができる。図 1はこのようにして形成された本発 明の保護膜付きガラス板の側断面を拡大して示したものである。保護膜付きガラス板 1は、基板 (無アルカリガラス板) 10の主面に本発明の保護剤を使用して保護膜 20を 形成してなる。
次にこの保護膜の形成方法を例示する。
[0045] 本発明の保護剤を無アルカリガラス板の表面に塗布等する方法は、浸漬法、スプレ 一法、スクリーン印刷、はけ塗り法等の公知の方法を適用できる。ここで、必ずしもガ ラス基板表面全体に塗布等する必要はなぐキズゃ有機物 (汚染物質)の付着を防 止する必要がある部分のみに形成してもよ 、。
なお、このような方法で本発明の保護剤を無アルカリガラス板の表面に塗布等する 前に、このガラス板表面を弱酸や弱アルカリ水溶液等により洗浄し、清浄な表面とす ることが好ましい。特に本発明の場合は、表面にアルカリ分が残存しないことが好まし い。
[0046] このような方法で本発明の保護剤を塗布等し保護膜を形成した後に、この保護膜を 乾燥させる。乾燥方法は自然乾燥、ジ ット気流による急速乾燥など種々の方法が 適用可能である。しかし、膜厚制御の観点から、ジェット気流による急速乾燥方式 (例 えばジェットファンによる乾燥)を用いることが好ましい。
[0047] このような乾燥操作を行えば、水等の溶媒は乾燥して実質的に保護膜から除去さ れるので、保護膜自体は、主として、上記の水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩、必要によつ て添加した水溶性膜構成成分およびその他の成分となる。
[0048] このような方法で、本発明の保護剤を無アルカリガラス板の少なくとも一方の主面上 に塗布等して保護膜を形成する。
または、少なくとも一方の主面上に機能性薄膜が形成された無アルカリガラス板の 、その薄膜上に、本発明の保護剤を塗布等して保護膜を形成する。つまり、前記無ァ ルカリガラス板の主面と前記保護膜との間に、さらに機能性薄膜を有する保護膜付き ガラス板とすることも可能である。機能性薄膜を有する場合であっても、本発明の保 護剤を用いることで、機能性薄膜に影響することなぐ膜やガラス板を十分に保護す ることが可能となる。
このような方法により製造し得る、水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩を含み、かつ無アル力 リである保護膜を、無アルカリガラス板の少なくとも一方の主面上に有する保護膜付 きガラス板を、以下では「本発明の保護膜付きガラス板」ともいう。また、この保護膜を 「本発明の保護膜」ともいう。

さらに、この多糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩は、前記アルギン酸アンモ-ゥムであ ることが好ましい。なお、糖類や無アルカリカルボン酸塩については前述したとおりで ある。
また、本発明の保護膜は水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩を含有するが、実質的にアル カリ成分を含有しなければ、水溶性膜構成成分やその他の成分を含有してもよ ヽ。 水溶性膜構成成分の具体例や割合、その他の成分の具体例や割合につ!/ヽては前 述したとおりである。
[0050] 本発明の保護膜付きガラス板を水洗して用いて製造した液晶ディスプレイ等の誤 作動の発生率は、従来と比べて格段に低いが、これは次のような理由によるものと、 本発明者は推定している。 上記のような従来法の保護膜が水洗により完全にガラス板表面力 除去されないで 、わずかに残存する場合は、後工程の薄膜コーティング等において薄膜の密着強度 の低下に起因する剥離が生じ、パターユング不良を起す。そして、製造された液晶デ イスプレイ等は誤作動を起こすと考えられる。また、 TFT— LCD用途においては、平 行する配線間の短絡、層間絶縁膜欠陥による上下配線間の短絡、表示電極と配線と の短絡などを引き起こし、歩留まり低下の原因となる。
また、アルカリ成分を含有している従来の保護剤を用いた場合、それを塗布等して 形成したガラス板表面の従来法の保護膜もアルカリ成分を含有して ヽる。この場合、 何らかの化学的、物理的作用により、従来法の保護膜中からガラス板表面部分ヘア ルカリ成分が移動する可能性がある。そして、その表面にアルカリ成分を有することと なったガラス板を用いて製造した液晶ディスプレイ等は誤作動を起こすと考えられる 一方、本発明の保護膜は、実質的にアルカリ成分を含有しない。また、水洗により 簡便に、かつより完全に除去することができる。従って、本発明の保護膜を水洗除去 した後の無アルカリガラス板力 製造した液晶ディスプレイ等の誤作動を防止できる と考えられる。
また、既に述べたように、このような水溶性物質等の無アルカリガラス板表面での残 存の割合、および液晶ディスプレイ等の誤作動の割合力 近年のガラス板の大型化' 高精細化とともにより高まっている力 この原因を本発明者は次のように推定している 近年開発された第 6世代のような大きな面積の液晶ディスプレイ用ガラス板を輸送 する場合、ガラス板を斜め置きすることが困難であり、平積みして輸送せざるを得ない 場合が多 、。このためガラス板と水溶性物質等力もなる保護膜との密着率が増大し、 さらに、この保護膜への荷重も増大する。上記のような何らかの化学的、物理的作用 により、保護膜中のアルカリ成分のガラス基板への移動が多くなつたり、ガラス基板の 水洗後の保護膜の残存率がさらに高くなつたりすると考えられる。
しかし、本発明の保護膜によれば、大型の無アルカリガラス基板であっても、アル力 リ分の移動がなぐかつ本発明の保護膜が残存する可能性がほとんどなぐその効果 が高い。
また、ガラス板を輸送する場合、合紙と呼ばれる紙をガラス板間に挟みこんだ状態 で輸送することが通常である。合紙は、通常、榭脂分 (主にはカーボン)が含まれてお り、その紙をガラス板に挟みこむと、榭脂分がガラス板表面に転写され、ガラス板が液 晶ディスプレイ用に使用できなくなるおそれがある。また、上記のような平積みで輸送 する場合、さらにこの転写の可能性は高くなる。本発明の保護膜を用いることで、上 記のような転写を抑えることが可能となる。

そして、この本発明の保護膜付きガラス板を水洗し、その表面に存在する本発明の 保護膜の少なくとも一部、好ましくは全てを、ガラス板の主面上または前記機能性薄 膜上から除去する。このようにして本発明の保護膜が除去された無アルカリガラス板 は、保存、輸送の後であっても、キズゃ汚れがほとんど見られない。また、これを用い て製造した液晶ディスプレイの誤作動の発生率が、従来と比べて格段に低い。さらに 、大型のガラス基板の場合であっても、その効果を有する。

<実施例 1 >
0. 7mm厚の液晶ディスプレイ用無アルカリガラス板を 5 X 5cm角に 4枚切り出した 。そして、各々のガラス片を 0. 01モル Zリットルの NaOH水溶液に 30秒間浸漬した 後、水洗し窒素ブロワ一を吹き付けて乾燥した。ガラス板表面に、アルカリの残存は 認められなかった。
次に、この 4枚のガラス片をアルギン酸アンモ-ゥム(商品名:キミカアルギン、株式 会社キミ力社製)の水溶液 (純水を使用)をはけ塗りにより塗布し、窒素ブロワ一で急 速乾燥して、各々のガラス片表面にアルギン酸アンモ-ゥムの保護膜を形成した。
[0066] ここで、用いたアルギン酸アンモ-ゥム水溶液の濃度は 0. 01質量0 /0であり、アル力 リ分は、 lppm以下であった。
また、ここで得られた 4枚のガラス片表面の保護膜の膜厚をマイクロメーターおよび 走査型電子顕微鏡 (断面観察)を用いて測定した結果、 4枚とも 0. 5 μ mであった。 なお、以下、保護膜の膜厚は同様の方法で測定した。また、保護膜中のアルカリ分 は、 5000ppmであった。
ここで得られた 4枚の保護膜付いたガラス片を、ガラス板 1— a、ガラス板 1— b、ガラ ス板 1 c、ガラス板 1 dという。

ガラス板 1— aおよび 1—bを恒温恒湿槽に入れ、下に示す熱サイクルテストを実施 した。その後、これらの試験片を取り出し、ガラス板 1— aについて 1500番研磨紙を 使用して 20gZcm2の荷重で摩擦試験に供した。具体的には、まず、このガラス板 1 — aを保護膜が上になるように水平架台上に置き、保護膜上に 1500番研磨紙を置き 、その上面力も鉛直下方向へ 20gZcm2の荷重をかけた。そして、保護膜付きガラス 板を水平方向へ lOcmZsの速度で引き抜いた。その後、このガラス板 1— aを、 20°C の純水の流水下(3リットル Z分)で 30秒間シャワーで水洗 、した後、傷の有無を評 価し 7こ。 なお、この水洗条件は、特許文献 2の実施例 1と同じである。

次に、保護膜上にサフアイャ針を置き、その上面力も鉛直下方向へ 20gの荷重をか けた。そして、保護膜付きガラス板を水平方向へ lcmZsの速度で引き抜いた。その 後、このガラス板 1 bを、 20°Cの純水の流水下(3リットル Z分)で 30秒間シャワーで 水洗いした後、傷の有無を評価した。
その結果を表 1に示す。なお、表 1において、「なし」とは高輝度光源下で目視で観 察してもキズが全く認められな力つたことを意味し、「有り」とは高輝度光源下で目視 で観察するとキズが認められたことを意味し、以下の例でも同様である。
[0071] <接触角の測定 >
ガラス板 1— cを ASTM D 4728— 95〖こ規定する試験〖こ供した。この試験に供した ガラス板は、トラック輸送をした後のガラス板と同様と見なすことができる。
その後、ガラス板 1— cを、 20°Cの純水の流水下(3リットル Z分)で 30秒間シャワー で水洗いした。 ガラス板 1— cと水との接触角を上記の接触角測定法 A QIS-R3257) (接触角計: 協和界面科学社製の CA— A)により測定した。その結果、接触角は 8度であった (表 Doこの値は製造直後のガラス板自体の表面の接触角と同程度である。また、 XPS 装置 (PHI製 5500)によりガラス板表面の保護膜の残存を調べたところ、検出限界以 下であり検出できな力つた。以上の結果から、ガラス板表面にアルギン酸アンモ-ゥ ムが残存して 、な 、ことが分力つた。
さらに、ガラス板 1 cを飛行時間型 2次イオン質量分析法 (TOF— SIMS)および X 線光電子分光法 (XPS)で測定したところ、アルギン酸アンモ-ゥムは検出されなか つた。これより、上記の水洗により、ガラス板 1—cの表面力もアルギン酸アンモニゥム の保護膜が完全に取り除かれたことが再確認された。
く XPSによるピーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)の測定 >
ガラス板 1— dを ASTM D 4728— 95〖こ規定する試験〖こ供した。この試験に供した ガラス板は、トラック輸送をした後のガラス板と同様と見なすことができる。
その後、ガラス板 1— dを、 20°Cの純水の流水下(3リットル Z分)で 30秒間シャワー で水洗いした。
ガラス板 1 dの XPS (X線光電子分光法)によるピーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)を測 定した。ここで、 Clsピークは 284. 6eVのピークを測定、 Si2pピークは 103. 4eVの ピークを測定し、 ClsZSi2pの強度比を求めた。その結果、実施例 1の XPSによるピ ーク強度比(Cls/Si2p)は 0. 2であった。
ClsZSi2pの強度比は、その実用上 1. 5以下、特に 1. 0以下、さらには 0. 5以下 であることが好ましい。なお、 ClsZSi2pの強度比が大きいほど、ガラス表面に残存 する C (炭素)が多 、ことを意味する。
<実施例 2〜5 >
実施例 2〜5では、上記の実施例 1で用いた 0. 01質量%アルギン酸アンモ-ゥム 水溶液の濃度を、 0. 1質量%(実施例 2)、0. 5質量%(実施例 3)、 1. 0質量% (実 施例 4)、 3. 0質量%(実施例 5)として、保護膜付きガラス板を得た。また、実施例 5 ではさらに水洗条件を変化させた。具体的には、実施例 2〜4では実施例 1と同様に 、 20°Cの純水の流水下(3リットル Z分)で 30秒間水洗いした力 実施例 5では、 20 °Cの純水の流水下(3リットル Z分)で 90秒間水洗 、した。
実施例 1と同じ方法で、保護膜付きガラス板のキズ (A)、キズ (B)および接触角を 評価した。測定結果を表 1に示す。
また、実施例 1と同じ方法で測定した XPSによるピーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)は、実 施例 2:0. 2、実施例 3 :0. 1、実施例 4:0. 2、実施例 5 :0. 2であった。

ここで得られた保護膜の膜厚を測定した結果、 4枚のガラス片とも 0. 5 mであった 実施例 1と同じ方法で、保護膜付きガラス板のキズ (A)、キズ (B)および接触角を 評価した。その結果、ガラス板表面のキズの存在は認められなカゝつた。測定結果を表 1に示す。
[0077] なお、接触角は 18度であった (表 1)。この値はガラス板自体の表面の接触角よりも 大幅に高い値であり、ガラス板表面に PVAが残存していることを意味する。
また、実施例 1と同じ方法で測定した XPSによるピーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)は 2. 0 であった。
さらに、 TOF— SIMSスペクトルより、質量数 43amuに PVAの典型的なフラグメント ピークが検出され (負イオン検出)、また、 XPS Clsスペクトルからも PVA中に存在 する酢酸ビニルに起因する C Oおよび o = c Oに帰属される成分が検出され、保 護膜が残存していることが判明した。これは、 PVAがガラス表面に存在するシラノー ル基と強固な結合を形成し、水洗では除去できないためと考えられる。このような保 護膜の残渣は、後工程にてレジストまたは液晶塗布工程に悪影響を及ぼすことが考 えられ、液晶ディスプレイ用ガラス板用としては好ましくな ヽ。

実施例 1と同じ方法で、保護膜付きガラス板のキズ (A)、キズ (B)および接触角を 評価した。測定結果を表 1に示す。その結果、接触角が 25度であり高い値であった。 また、実施例 1と同じ方法で測定した XPSによるピーク強度比(Cls/Si2p)は 3. 0 であった。このように比較例 5と比較すると低い値となっていることから、比較例 5の場 合よりも減少しているものの、実施例 1〜5と比較すれば、水洗後のガラス基板表面に 多くの PVAが残存しているものと考えられる。

[0084] また、比較例 3〜6に示したように、 PVAを塗布した無アルカリガラス板を水洗しても 、 PVAはガラス板表面に残存することを確認した。なお、特許文献 2には、その実施 例に、洗浄後のガラス面を顕微鏡で観察したところ、保護膜は完全に取り除かれてい たと記載されている。これは顕微鏡による観察であったために、僅かな残存は観察で きな力つたためと考えられる。上記のような飛行時間型 2次イオン質量分析法 (TOF SIMS)および X線光電子分光法 (XPS)による高度な測定では、 PVAが残存して いることが確認できた。
液晶ディスプレイ等に用いる無アルカリガラス板は、顕微鏡では観察できな 、程度 の汚染であっても許容できず、より高い表面特性が要求される。
[0085] なお、アルギン酸アンモ-ゥムをコーティングした実施例 1〜5の膜は、保護膜自身 はダメージを受けていた。しかし、水洗後のガラス表面にはキズなしであった。これに 対し、四ホウ酸ナトリウムをコーティングした比較例 1および 2も水洗後のガラス表面に はキズなしであった。しかし、この比較例 1および 2のガラス基板を用いて液晶ディス プレイを作成すると誤作動が生じる。これにより、コーティングした膜中のナトリウム分 が誤作動を生じさせたと推定される。
また、四ホウ酸ナトリウムの保護膜の膜厚を 0. 2 m超とすると、水洗後のガラス表 面にはキズが生じた。これは、四ホウ酸ナトリウムは熱サイクルテストにより結露が発生 し、被膜にクラックが生じる結果、ガラス表面を均一に覆うことができなくなり、露出し たガラス面に傷がつくためと考えられる。一方、アルギン酸アンモ-ゥムは水溶性塩 類力 なる水溶性物質に比べて水に対する溶解度が低いため、これを除去する工程 までの間で保護膜の表面に結露が発生しても溶解され 1 、膜厚が厚い場合であつ ても、熱サイクルテストに供した後でもガラス表面を均一に被覆しており、ガラス基板 に傷がつかな!/、と推測される。

くアルギン酸アンモ-ゥムをコーティングした機能性薄膜付きガラス板〉 <実施例 6 >
実施例 1で用いた 0. 7mm厚の液晶ディスプレイ用無アルカリガラス板の一方の主 面上に、公知の方法で、酸化インジウム (ITO)からなる導電膜 (厚み 200nm)を形成 した。そして、実施例 1と同様に 50 X 50cm角に 4枚切り出した。そして、各々のガラ ス片を UVZO洗浄機にて 3分間処理した後、水洗し自然乾燥させた。

次に、実施例 1と同じ種類、濃度のアルギン酸アンモ-ゥム水溶液を、スプレーを用 いて各々のガラス片の導電膜の上面に塗布した。そして、実施例 1と同様に乾燥して
、導電膜の上面にアルギン酸アンモ-ゥムの保護膜を形成し、保護膜付きガラス板を 得た。
ここで得られたアルギン酸アンモ-ゥムの保護膜の厚さは、 4枚のガラス片とも 1 mであった。
[0088] この得られた保護膜付きガラス板を用い、実施例 1と同じ方法で、キズ評価 (A)、キ ズ評価 (B)および接触角を評価した。測定結果を表 2に示す。
また、実施例 1と同じ方法で測定した XPSによるピーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)は 0. 2 であった。

実施例 6の酸化インジウム (ITO)力もなる透明導電膜の代わりに、 ZnO/Ag/Zn O/Ag/ZnO (各層の膜厚: 20nm/ 10nm/80nm/ 10nm/20nm)からなる熱 線遮蔽膜を形成したガラス片を使用した以外は実施例 6と同様に処理して保護膜付 きガラス板を得た。
ここで、得られたアルギン酸アンモ-ゥムの保護膜の厚さは、 4枚のガラス片とも 1. 0 μ mであつ 7こ。
この得られた保護膜付きガラス板を用い、実施例 1と同じ方法で、キズ評価 (A)、キ ズ評価 (B)および接触角を評価した。測定結果を表 2に示す。
また、実施例 1と同じ方法で測定した XPSによるピーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)は 0. 1 であった。

また、水洗により保護膜は完全に取り除かれていたが、導電膜にキズの発生が認め られた。

実施例 7で用いたアルギン酸アンモ-ゥムの代わりに、 0. 05molZlの四ホウ酸ナト リウムを用い、その他の条件を全て実施例 7と同じとして保護膜付きガラス板を得た。 ここで得られた四ホウ酸ナトリウムの保護膜の厚さは、 4枚のガラス片とも 0. 5 mで あった。この得られた保護膜付きガラス板を用い、実施例 1と同じ方法で、キズ評価( A)、キズ評価 (B)および接触角を評価した。測定結果を表 2に示す。

実施例 6で用いたアルギン酸アンモ-ゥムの代わりに、比較例 3と同じ重合度 240、 鹼ィ匕度 65モル%の PVA水溶液を用い、その他の条件を全て実施例 6と同じとして保 護膜付きガラス板を得た。
ここで得られた PVAの保護膜の厚さは、 4枚のガラス片とも 1. O /z mであった。 この得られた保護膜付きガラス板を用い、実施例 1と同じ方法で、キズ評価 (A)、キ ズ評価 (B)および接触角を評価した。測定結果を表 2に示す。
導電膜にキズの発生は認められな力つた力 水洗により保護膜は完全には取り除 かれず残存していることを、 XPS分析により確認し、 TOF— SIMSおよび XPS分析 により再確認した。また、実施例 1と同じ方法で測定した XPSによるピーク強度比(C1 s/Si2p)は 2. 0であった。
これは、? 八カ 丁0膜および ZnO膜表面に存在する In—OH、 Sn— OH、または 、 Zn— OH基と強固な結合を形成し、水洗では除去できないためと考えられる。この ような保護膜の残渣は、後工程にてパターユングなどを施す場合、パターユング特性 に悪影響を及ぼすことが考えられ、好ましくない。

実施例 7で用いたアルギン酸アンモ-ゥムの代わりに、比較例 3と同じ重合度 240、 鹼ィ匕度 65モル%の PVA水溶液を用い、その他の条件を全て実施例 7と同じとして保 護膜付きガラス板を得た。
ここで得られた PVAの保護膜の厚さは、 4枚のガラス片とも 1. O /z mであった。 この得られた保護膜付きガラス板を用い、実施例 1と同じ方法で、キズ評価 (A)、キ ズ評価 (B)および接触角を評価した。測定結果を表 2に示す。
熱線遮蔽膜にキズの発生は認められな力つたが、水洗により保護膜は完全には取 り除かれず残存していることを、比較例 11と同様、 XPS分析、および TOF— SIMS により確認した。また、実施例 1と同じ方法で測定した XPSによるピーク強度比(Cls /Si2p)は 2. 7であった。

実施例 6で用いたアルギン酸アンモ-ゥムを用いず (つまり保護膜を形成せず)、そ の他を全て実施例 6と同じ条件としてガラス板を得た。
この得られたガラス板を用い、実施例 1と同じ方法で、キズ評価 (A)、キズ評価 (B) および接触角を評価した。測定結果を表 2に示す。
また、実施例 1と同じ方法で測定した XPSによるピーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)は 2. 0 であった。

実施例 6にお 、て 50 X 50cm角に切り出したガラス片を適当な大きさに切り出しこ のガラス板を用いて液晶ディスプレイを作成する。この液晶ディスプレイは誤作動は 生じない。

実施例 9では、実施例 1で用いた 0. 01質量%アルギン酸アンモ-ゥム水溶液を用 、る代わり【こ、 0. 0095質量0 /0ァノレギン酸アンモニゥムおよび 0. 0005質量0 /0グリセ リンの混合水溶液を用いて、保護膜付きガラス板を得た。
なお、この混合水溶液のアルカリ分は、 lppm以下であった。また、ここで得られた 保護膜の膜厚は 0. 5 mであった。また、保護膜中のアルカリ分は、 5000ppmであ つ 7こ。
実施例 1と同じ方法で、保護膜付きガラス板のキズ (A)、キズ (B)、接触角および X PSによるピーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)を評価した。測定結果を表 3に示す。
<比較例 16>
比較例 16では、実施例 1で用いた 0. 01質量%アルギン酸アンモ-ゥム水溶液を 用いる代わりに、 0. 005質量%アルギン酸アンモ-ゥムおよび 0. 005質量%グリセ リンの混合水溶液を用いて、保護膜付きガラス板を得た。
なお、この混合水溶液のアルカリ分は、 lppm以下であった。また、ここで得られた 保護膜の膜厚は 0. 5 mであった。また、保護膜中のアルカリ分は、 5000ppmであ つ 7こ。
実施例 1と同じ方法で、保護膜付きガラス板のキズ (A)、キズ (B)、接触角および X PSによるピーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)を評価した。測定結果を表 3に示す。
<実施例 10>
実施例 1で用いた 0. 7mm厚の液晶ディスプレイ用無アルカリガラス板の一方の主 面上に、公知の方法で、酸化インジウム (ITO)からなる導電膜 (厚み 200nm)を形成 した。そして、実施例 1と同様に 50 X 50cm角に 4枚切り出した。そして、各々のガラ ス片を UVZO洗浄機にて 3分間処理した後、水洗し自然乾燥させた。

次に、 0. 0095質量0 /0アルギン酸アンモ -ゥムおよび 0. 0005質量0 /。グリセリンの 混合水溶液を、スプレーを用いて各々のガラス片の導電膜の上面に塗布した。そし て、実施例 1と同様に乾燥して、導電膜の上面にアルギン酸アンモ-ゥムの保護膜を 形成し、保護膜付きガラス板を得た。
ここで得られた保護膜の厚さは、 4枚とも 1 mであった。 実施例 1と同じ方法で、保護膜付きガラス板のキズ (A)、キズ (B)、接触角および X PSによるピーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)を評価した。測定結果を表 3に示す。
<実施例 11 >
実施例 10の酸化インジウム (ITO)力もなる透明導電膜の代わりに、 ZnO/Ag/Z nOZAgZZnO (各層の膜厚: 20nmZl0nmZ80nmZl0nmZ20nm)からなる 熱線遮蔽膜を形成したガラス片を使用した以外は実施例 10と同様に処理して保護 膜付きガラス板を得た。
ここで、得られたアルギン酸アンモ-ゥムの保護膜の厚さは、 4枚のガラス片とも 1. 0 μ mであつ 7こ。
実施例 1と同じ方法で、保護膜付きガラス板のキズ (A)、キズ (B)、接触角および X PSによるピーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)を評価した。測定結果を表 3に示す。
<比較例 17 >
実施例 10で用いた混合水溶液の代わりに、 0. 005質量%アルギン酸アンモ-ゥム および 0. 005質量%グリセリンの混合水溶液を用いて、その他を全て実施例 10と同 じ条件としてガラス板を得た。
実施例 1と同じ方法で、ガラス板のキズ (A)、キズ (B)、接触角および XPSによるピ ーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)を評価した。測定結果を表 3に示す。
<比較例 18 >
実施例 11で用いた混合水溶液の代わりに、 0. 005質量%アルギン酸アンモ-ゥム および 0. 005質量%グリセリンの混合水溶液を用いて、その他を全て実施例 11と同 じ条件としてガラス板を得た。
実施例 1と同じ方法で、ガラス板のキズ (A)、キズ (B)、接触角および XPSによるピ ーク強度比(ClsZSi2p)を評価した。測定結果を表 3に示す。

/Ag/ZnO 産業上の利用可能性
本発明の保護膜付きガラスは、水洗でき、かつキズ発生を防止できるので、液晶デ イスプレイ等に有用である。 なお、 2005年 7月 29日に出願された日本特許出願 2005— 221444号の明細書 、特許請求の範囲、図面及び要約書の全内容をここに引用し、本発明の明細書の開 示として、取り入れるものである。

Claims

請求の範囲
[I] 水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩を含み、かつ無アルカリである無アルカリガラス板用保 護剤。
[2] 水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩が、糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩である請求項 1に記 載の無アルカリガラス板用保護剤。
[3] 糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩力 多糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩である請求項
2に記載の無アルカリガラス板用保護剤。
[4] 多糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩力 アルギン酸アンモ-ゥムである請求項 3に記 載の無アルカリガラス板用保護剤。
[5] 保護剤の粘度が、 20°C、 pH6— 8において 350〜500mPa' sである請求項 1〜4
Vヽずれかに記載の無アルカリガラス板用保護剤。
[6] 保護剤がゲル化して ヽな ヽ請求項 1〜5 、ずれか〖こ記載の無アルカリガラス板用保 護剤。
[7] 保護剤中における水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩の含有率が 0. 005〜90質量%であ る請求項 1〜6いずれか〖こ記載の無アルカリガラス板用保護剤。
[8] 保護剤中に水溶性膜構成成分を含み、かつ水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩の割合は 、水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩と水溶性膜構成成分との合量に対して 50質量%以上 である請求項 1〜7いずれかに記載の無アルカリガラス板用保護剤。
[9] 保護剤中のアルカリ成分の含有量が、 50ppm以下である請求項 1〜8いずれかに 記載の無アルカリガラス板用保護剤。
[10] 請求項 1〜9 、ずれかに記載の無アルカリガラス板用保護剤を無アルカリガラス板 に塗布することにより形成されてなる保護膜付きガラス板。
[II] 水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩を含み、かつ無アルカリである保護膜を、無アルカリガ ラス板の少なくとも一方の主面上に有する保護膜付きガラス板。
[12] 水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩力 糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩である請求項 11に 記載の保護膜付きガラス板。
[13] 糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩力 多糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩である請求項
12に記載の保護膜付きガラス板。
[14] 多糖類の無アルカリカルボン酸塩力 アルギン酸アンモ-ゥムである請求項 13に記 載の保護膜付きガラス板。
[15] 保護膜中に水溶性膜構成成分を含み、かつ水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩の割合は
、水溶性無アルカリ有機酸塩と水溶性膜構成成分との合量に対して 50質量%以上 である請求項 11〜14 、ずれかに記載の保護膜付きガラス板。
[16] 保護膜中のアルカリ成分の含有量力 30000ppm以下である請求項 11〜15いず れかに記載の保護膜付きガラス板。
[17] 無アルカリガラス基板の大きさ力 1500mmX 1800mm以上である請求項 11〜1
