Abstract

Le procédé d'assemblage d'un essieu de véhicule automobile du type pourvu de bras de suspension (3) portant des supports de roues et d'une traverse (9) montée entre lesdits bras de suspension comprend les étapes successives au cours desquelles on applique un élément adhésif sur au moins une portion de la traverse, on monte ladite portion à l'intérieur d'un alésage d'un des bras de suspension de manière à laisser subsister un jeu (12) entre ledit bras de suspension et l'élément adhésif, et on déforme radialement un des éléments de l'assemblage constitué par la traverse et les bras de suspension pour obtenir un contact entre l'élément adhésif et l'alésage du bras de suspension.
