Abstract

A hair treating device (1) for receiving warm air or heat comprises a housing (12) receiving a row (8) of projected clamping blade pairs (7), wherein at least one blade of each pair is movably mounted with respect to the adjacent blade, the movable blades (10) of the row (8) are carried by a sliding gear (14) which is actuated by an actuating system (30), which makes it possible to open and/or close the clamping blade pairs (7). According to said invention, each movable blade (10) is displaceable in the reception area thereof inside the sliding gear (14) by a spring pressure.
