Abstract

Dans un procédé de préparation d'une pâte de plâtre, un dispersant de polycarboxylate, un modificateur et un matériau hydraulique comprenant du stuc sont sélectionnés en vue d'une utilisation dans la pâte. Ces constituants sont ensuite combinés avec de l'eau en vue de la formation d'une pâte, le modificateur étant additionné à la pâte avant la formation d'une phase pâteuse avec l'eau, le stuc et le dispersant. On a observé que le modificateur est moins efficace lorsqu'il est additionné après la mise en contact du dispersant et du stuc dans une pâte aqueuse. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, une quantité de stuc est obtenue et le modificateur et le dispersant sont sélectionnés. Une solution prédissoute d'un dispersant et d'un modificateur est préparée dans l'eau en vue de la formation d'une solution avant l'addition du stuc. Après le mélange de la solution, le stuc est additionné en vue de la formation de la pâte. Ensuite, on peut éventuellement travailler cette pâte de façon à former un produit avant de la laisser durcir.
