Abstract
La présente invention porte sur un procédé de traitement de sédiments de dragage marins ou de rivière, en particulier de sédiments de zone portuaire, dont la teneur en eau libre est comprise entre 40 % et 80 % en poids, dans le but d'obtenir une matière solide qui est facile à manipuler, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes successives suivantes : le mélange desdits sédiments avec une composition de traitement comprenant un liant sulfoaluminate et au moins un autre composant choisi parmi une source de sulfate et un catalyseur pour les réactions d'hydratation du liant sulfoaluminate, une étape de prise dudit mélange, conduisant à un mélange compact ayant une teneur en eau libre inférieure à 20 % en poids, puis le fractionnement dudit mélange compact. Le sédiment ainsi traité peut être incorporé dans des formules de béton ou de mortier, qui ont alors des fractions lessivables inférieures à 1 % en poids.
