[0010] しかし、現在位置力 最も近い送信所又は中継所の方向に向いているアンテナを 最適なアンテナとして選んでも、ディジタル TV信号の伝送路内に建築物等が存在す る場合には、良好な受信状態を得ることができないため、結局、各アンテナ (No.l〜N 0.4)を順次切り替えて良好な受信状態の得られるアンテナをチ ックしなければなら ず、最適なアンテナに切り替えるまでの処理時間が長くなつて、迅速な対応ができな くなるという問題がある。

[0012] また、既に走行したことのある通過ルートの受信位置と各アンテナ(No.l〜No.4)毎 の受信状態を示す受信情報をテーブルとしてメモリに保存しておくことから、膨大な 記憶容量が必要となり、例えば装置の大型化、部品点数の増加等を招来する問題が ある。
[0013] また、特許文献 1の図 1に記載されているように、切替制御手段は、アナログ受信機 内に設けられている復調手段で復調された信号力 SZN等の受信状態に関する受 信情報を入力し、その受信情報に基づいて最良の受信状態が得られるアンテナに 切り替えるようにフィードバック制御を行っており、また、ディジタル受信機では一般に 、 OFDM復調部で復調される復調信号(トランスポートストリーム)のビットエラーレー トに基づいて受信状態の良否を判断して、より良好な受信状態の得られるアンテナに 切り替えるようにフィードバック制御を行っている。このため、フィードバック制御による 処理時間が長くなり、迅速に最適なアンテナに切り替えることが困難となる場合があ る。

発明を実施するための最良の形態

ど良好な受信状態の得られる伝送路であると判断する。更に、その判断した最良の 受信状態の得られる伝送路の移動先位置における方向、すなわち、最良の受信状 態の得られる伝送路を通って移動先位置に到来するときの直接波又は反射波の入 射方向を演算する。そして、演算した入射方向と移動先位置を関連付けたテーブル データを作成して、記憶部 5に記憶させる。
[0031] このように、伝送路予測部 4は、移動先位置と、その移動先位置を受信エリアとして いる送信アンテナの位置と、地形や建造物の位置に加えて、それら送信アンテナと 地形や建造物の高さを含めた三次元地図情報を利用して、送信アンテナから発せら れる電波が地形や建造物の影響により直接波又は反射波となって移動先位置に到 来するときの伝送路を三次元で予測演算し、更に最良の受信状態が得られる直接波 又は反射波の伝送路の移動先位置における方向を演算して、移動先位置と関連付 けたテーブルデータを作成して記憶部 5に記憶させる。更に、移動体 CRが移動する 毎に、順次にテーブルデータを作成して記憶部 5に記憶させることで、最新のテープ ルデータで更新していく。

測しておき、実際に移動体 CRがその移動先位置に移動した際に、予測しておいた 入射方向と指向性が合っているアンテナを選択してチューナ一部 2に接続するので、 より高い確実性を持って、最良の受信状態の下で受信することができると共に、受信 状態の劣化を大幅に低減して、アンテナ切替えを行うことができる。

[0038] また、従来の一般的な受信装置では、送信アンテナと受信位置とを特定せずに、 到来電波の受信強度等を演算して、受信状態のより良 、到来電波を受信するように アンテナ切替えを行っていたため、演算量が多くなつて処理に遅延が生じる等の問 題があつたが、本実施形態では、伝送路予測部 4が、三次元地図情報から得られる 送信アンテナと地形や建造物との位置及び高さに関する既知の三次元情報を用い て、最良の受信状態が得られる直接波又は反射波の移動先位置における入射方向 を予測演算するので、演算量を大幅に低減することができる。このため、迅速な処理 が可能となると共に、伝送路予測部 4をマイクロプロセッサ等を用いて形成した場合 に、マイクロプロセッサ等における処理の負担を大幅に低減することが可能である。

実施例
[0048] 次に、より具体的な実施例について、図 1、図 2及び図 3を参照して説明する。 本 実施例の受信装置 Rxは、車載型ナビゲーシヨン装置に接続されて、自動車等の移 動体 CRに搭載される放送受信装置であり、図 1 (a) (b)に示したのと同様に、複数の アンテナ Al〜Anが接続されたアンテナ切替部 1と、地上放送全般について受信可 能なチューナ一部 2と、アンテナ切替制御部 3とを備え、アンテナ切替制御部 3は、伝 送路予測部 4と記憶部 5とアンテナ選択部 6を有して構成されている。

[0065] 次に、ステップ STB4において、アンテナ選択部 6が、現在位置と同じ移動先位置 に関連付られて ヽる入射方向の情報を、記憶部 5内のテーブルデータから取得し、 その入射方向と指向性が合っているアンテナをアンテナ Al〜An力 選択し、切替 制御信号 CNTによってアンテナ切替部 1に指示することにより、その選択したアンテ ナとチューナ一部 2とを接続させる。例えば、図 3に例示する移動先位置 XIに移動体 CRが移動した場合、アンテナ選択部 6が記憶部 5内のテーブルデータ力 取得した 反射波 R13の入射方向と指向性が合っているアンテナが A1であれば、そのアンテナ A1とチューナ一部 2とを接続させるベぐ切替制御信号 CNTによってアンテナ切替 部 1を制御する。

[0068] 以上説明したように、本実施例の受信装置 Rxによれば、三次元地図情報を用いて 、三次元の幾何学演算により、予め、移動先位置における良好な受信状態が得られ る電波の入射方向を予測しておき、実際に移動体 CRがその移動先位置に移動した 際に、予測しておいた入射方向と指向性が合っているアンテナを選択してチューナ 一部 2に接続するので、より高い確実性を持って、最良の受信状態の下で受信するこ とができると共に、受信状態の劣化を大幅に低減して、アンテナ切替えを行うことがで きる。

[0070] また、伝送路予測部 4が、三次元地図情報から得られる送信アンテナと地形や建造 物との位置及び高さに関する既知の三次元情報を用いて、三次元の幾何学演算に より、最良の受信状態が得られる直接波又は反射波の移動先位置における入射方 向を予測するので、演算量を大幅に低減することができる。このため、迅速な処理が 可能となると共に、伝送路予測部 4の機能を発揮するマイクロプロセッサ又はディジタ ルシグナルプロセッサにおける処理の負担を大幅に低減することが可能である。

[0074] また、受信装置 Rx内に、インターネット等の通信網と接続するための通信機を内蔵 し、伝送路演算部 4が、所定のプロバイダーから最新の三次元地図情報を取得する ようにしてもよい。力かる構成とすることにより、更に高い確実性を持って、移動先位 置における良好な受信状態が得られる直接波又は反射波の入射方向を予測し、実 際に移動体 CRがその移動先位置に移動した際に、予測しておいた入射方向と指向 性が合っているアンテナを選択してチューナ一部 2に接続することができる。
Claims
[1] 複数のアンテナから良好な受信状態が得られるアンテナを選択して受信する受信 装置であって、
三次元地図情報を利用して、現在位置より先の移動先位置における良好な受信状 態が得られる電波の入射方向を予測する伝送路予測手段と、
前記移動先位置に移動したか否かを判断し、前記移動先位置に移動すると、前記 入射方向に合った指向性を有するアンテナを前記複数のアンテナ力 選択するアン テナ選択手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする受信装置。
[2] 複数のアンテナから良好な受信状態が得られるアンテナを選択して受信する受信 装置であって、
三次元地図情報を利用して、現在位置より先の移動先位置における良好な受信状 態が得られる電波の入射方向を予測すると共に、前記入射方向に合った指向性を 有するアンテナを予測する伝送路予測手段と、
前記移動先位置に移動したか否かを判断し、前記移動先位置に移動すると、前記 伝送路予測手段が予測したアンテナを選択するアンテナ選択手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする受信装置。
[3] 前記アンテナ選択手段が判断する為の情報を、前記伝送路予測手段が予測した 予測結果の情報を前記移動先位置の情報と関連付けたテーブルデータとして更新 記憶する記憶手段を有すること、
を特徴とする請求項 1又は 2に記載の受信装置。
[4] 伝送路予測手段とアンテナ選択手段は、前記三次元地図情報と、前記現在位置を 示す情報と、前記移動先位置を示す情報をナビゲーシヨン装置から取得すること、 を特徴とする請求項 1〜3の何れか 1項に記載の受信装置。
[5] 前記三次元地図情報をインターネット上の所定サーバー力 取得する通信機を有 すること、
を特徴とする請求項 1〜4の何れか 1項に記載の受信装置。
