Abstract

L’invention concerne un dispositif servant à découper in situ une mortaise dans un bord avant d’une porte, le dispositif comprenant au moins un moyen de guidage allongé (60, 70) ; un moyen de serrage (22) servant à serrer le moyen de guidage allongé sur une porte ou autre pièce à usiner, de façon à ce que le moyen de guidage allongé soit sensiblement parallèle à un bord avant de la porte ou autre pièce à usiner ; et un moyen de guidage de foret (80) monté sur le moyen de guidage allongé pour pouvoir y effectuer un mouvement de va-et-vient. Le dispositif est caractérisé en ce qu’un mécanisme à pignon et crémaillère est utilisé pour déplacer le moyen de guidage de foret le long du moyen de guidage allongé. Le dispositif permet la découpe rapide et efficace de mortaises et de feuillures de charnières dans une porte.
