Abstract

L'invention concerne des dispositifs ophtalmiques, en particulier des lentilles intraoculaires (IOL) qui présentent une plus grande sensibilité aux contrastes, et qui inhibent mieux les U.V. ambiants et la lumière ou assurent une meilleure protection contre les U.V. ambiants et la lumière bleue, en présence d'un gradient décroissant d'un chromophore bloquant la lumière bleue (BLBC), du centre de la lentille vers le bord de la lentille. Utilisé dans une IOL, le gradient décroissant BLBC améliore la vue du patient, notamment dans des conditions de lumière tamisée ou de faible luminosité.
