Abstract
Ce dispositif (10, 20) d'acquisition d'image (I) radiologique dentaire, comporte un capteur intra-buccal (10) et un boîtier de commande (20) apte à contrôler le capteur intrabuccal (10) pour déclencher l'acquisition d'une image (I), la mémoriser, et la transférer vers au moins un ordinateur (30, 30'), via des moyens de communication numériques sans fil (22). Ce dispositif comporte des moyens de contrôle (25) aptes à : conserver l'image (I) dans une mémoire (26) si aucune communication sans fil n'est correctement établie avec au moins un ordinateur (30, 30') ; et à transférer cette image (I) vers au moins un ordinateur (30, 30') dès que la communication est correctement établie.
Description
Dispositif et système de radiologie dentaire sans fil autonome.
La présente invention se rapporte au domaine général des dispositifs et systèmes de radiologie dentaire. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne un dispositif de radiologie comportant des moyens de communication numériques sans fil, pour le transfert des images radiologiques, vers un ordinateur, en vue de leur visualisation et/ou de leur stockage.
Dans le contexte de la radiologie dentaire, se pose un problème particulier du fait que le praticien qui réalise la radiologie ne peut pas visualiser, sur son ordinateur, l'image pendant la prise de cliché.
Or, dans un cabinet de radiologie dentaire, de nombreux équipements sont susceptibles de produire des interférences qui rendent la communication sans fil délicate. II en résulte que bien souvent des images sont en pratique perdues, ce qui nécessite de reprendre des clichés avec l'inconvénient de soumettre le patient à un rayonnement supplémentaire.
Des images peuvent aussi être perdues quand l'ordinateur destiné à les recevoir est occupé à une autre tâche.
Objet et résumé de l'invention
La présente invention a donc pour but principal de pallier de tels inconvénients en proposant un dispositif d'acquisition d'image radiologique dentaire, comportant : - un capteur intra-buccal ;
- un boîtier de commande apte à contrôler le capteur intrabuccal pour déclencher l'acquisition d'une image, mémoriser, et transférer cette image vers au moins un ordinateur, via des moyens de communication numériques sans fil. Ce dispositif comporte des moyens de contrôle aptes à :
- conserver l'image dans une mémoire si aucune communication sans fil n'est correctement établie avec au moins un ordinateur ; et à
- transférer l'image vers au moins un ordinateur dès que la communication est correctement établie. Le dispositif selon l'invention résout les inconvénients de l'art antérieur, puisqu' en cas d'interférence pendant la communication avec un
ordinateur, ou lorsque l'ordinateur n'est pas disponible pour recevoir l'image, celle-ci est conservée en mémoire. En conséquence, il n'est plus nécessaire de réaliser un nouveau cliché.
Préférentiellement, les moyens de communication numériques sans fil pour transférer l'image à l'ordinateur, sont conformes au standard Bluetooth (marque déposée), tel que défini par la norme IEEE 802.15 version 2 et suivantes.
Cette technologie présente l'avantage d'être standardisée et d'être à la fois très faible consommatrice d'énergie et surtout robuste aux interférences. Les images acquises peuvent aussi être visualisées sur des terminaux de différents types (téléphone portable, PDA, ...).
Dans une variante préférée de réalisation, le dispositif selon l'invention comporte un registre, pour mémoriser au moins une valeur de configuration autorisant ce dispositif à communiquer avec au moins un ordinateur.
Cette caractéristique permet avantageusement de constituer un véritable réseau, à l'intérieur d'un cabinet ou d'un service comportant plusieurs fauteuils, ce qui permet de limiter l'encombrement nécessaire et les coûts d'équipement du centre de soin. Dans ce contexte, il est encore plus important de pouvoir conserver une image numérique en mémoire, notamment dans les configurations réseau pour lesquelles plusieurs boîtiers de commande transfèrent leurs radiologies au même ordinateur.
Ainsi et selon un deuxième aspect, l'invention concerne aussi un système de radiologie dentaire comportant au moins un dispositif d'acquisition d'image radiologique dentaire tel que décrit brièvement ci- dessus et au moins un ordinateur comportant des moyens de communication sans fil pour communiquer avec ce dispositif.
Brève description des dessins
D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de la présente invention ressortiront de la description faite ci-dessous, en référence à la figure 1 qui illustre un exemple de réalisation d'un système conforme à l'invention dépourvu de tout caractère limitatif. Description détaillée d'un mode de réalisation
La figure 1 représente un système 1 de radiologie dentaire sans fil conforme à l'invention dans un mode préféré de réalisation.
Ce système comporte au moins un ordinateur 30 équipé de moyens de télécommunications numériques sans fil 32. Dans l'exemple décrit ici, les moyens de communication sans fil sont conformes au standard Bluetooth (marque déposée), tel que défini par la norme IEEE 802.15 version 2 et suivantes.
Dans un mode préféré de réalisation, les moyens de communication sans fil sont conformes au standard Bluetooth 2.0 EDR (pour « Enhanced Data Rate ») (marque déposée).
D'autres standards de radiocommunication numériques peuvent être utilisés.
Dans ce document, le mot « ordinateur » désigne tout système de traitement de données numériques, à savoir notamment pour la visualisation et /ou le stockage d'images radiologiques dentaires.
L'ordinateur 30 est apte à communiquer, en utilisant les moyens 32 de télécommunications sans fil, avec un boîtier de commande 20 relié, par un câble 11, à un capteur intra buccal 10 comportant un capteur CCD. En particulier, le praticien peut envoyer, depuis l'ordinateur 30, une commande, en utilisant les moyens de télécommunication sans fil 32, pour configurer le boîtier de commande 20, avec des paramètres propres au patient.
Le boîtier de commande 20 comporte des moyens 24 adaptés à générer des signaux de commande et de contrôle du capteur CCD, ces signaux étant véhiculés sur le câble 11.
En variante, le capteur CCD peut être remplacé par un capteur CMOS.
Pour communiquer avec l'ordinateur 30, le boîtier de commande 20 comporte des moyens de télécommunications sans fil 22 compatibles avec les moyens de télécommunication sans fil 32 de l'ordinateur 30.
Dans le mode préféré de réalisation décrit ici, ils sont conformes au standard Bluetooth (marque déposée).
Dans le mode de réalisation décrit ici, à la mise en service du boîtier de commande 20, un ordinateur 30 et ce boîtier de commande 20 vérifient dans des registres 27, s'ils sont configurés avec une valeur
ID_COM0 autorisant la communication Bluetooth (marque déposée) entre
ces éléments pour le transfert d'une image dentaire I et sa capture par l'ordinateur 30.
Dans l'exemple de la figure 1 : l'ordinateur 30 est configuré pour communiquer avec les boîtiers de commande 20 et 20' ; et l'ordinateur 30' est configuré pour communiquer uniquement avec le boîtier de commande 20'. Ces ordinateurs 30, 30' peuvent avoir des fonctions différentes. Par exemple, l'ordinateur 30' peut servir de base d'archivage des radiologies dentaires à des fins médico-légales.
De façon connue, le boîtier de commande 20 comporte une mémoire 26 pour mémoriser une image dentaire I acquise par le capteur 10. Cette image peut notamment être corrigée, par exemple en cas de pixel défectueux par des moyens de traitement d'images 23 du boîtier 20. Tous les éléments du boîtier 20 sont reliés à un même bus 127 et contrôlés par un processeur ou DSP 25.
Le processeur 25 est en particulier apte, en réponse à une commande de l'ordinateur 30, reçue par les moyens sans fil 22, à renvoyer une partie quelconque P3 de l'image I, notamment en cas de mauvaise réception.
Le processeur 25 comporte des moyens pour déterminer si au moins une communication est correctement établie avec au moins un ordinateur 30. En pratique, le processeur 25 vérifie par exemple si les informations transmises aux ordinateurs 30, 30' avec lesquels il communique sont acquittées.
Le processeur 25 est également apte à allumer un témoin 28, par exemple constitué par une LED, lorsqu'une communication est établie et maintenue avec au moins un ordinateur 30, 30'. Conformément à l'invention, le boîtier de commande 20 est apte à conserver l'image dentaire I dans la mémoire 26, si aucune communication Bluetooth (marque déposée) n'est correctement établie avec un ordinateur 30, 30' du système 1. Le système est dit « autonome ».
Cette caractéristique est notamment très utile si l'ordinateur 30 est éteint, hors service, mal configuré, ou occupé à une autre tâche, par exemple à recevoir une image d'un autre boîtier de commande.
Claims
1. Dispositif (10, 20) d'acquisition d'image (I) radiologique dentaire, comportant : - un capteur intra-buccal (10) ;
- un boîtier de commande (20) apte à contrôler le capteur intrabuccal (10) pour déclencher l'acquisition de ladite image (I), mémoriser, et transférer cette image (I) vers au moins un ordinateur (30, 30'), via des moyens de communication numériques sans fil (22), ledit dispositif étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte des moyens de contrôle (25) aptes à :
- conserver ladite image (I) dans une mémoire (26) si aucune communication sans fil n'est correctement établie avec ledit au moins un ordinateur (30, 30') ; et à
- transférer ladite image (I) vers ledit au moins un ordinateur (30, 30') dès que ladite communication est correctement établie.
2. Dispositif (10, 20) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens (22) de communication sans fil sont conformes au standard Bluetooth (marque déposée).
3. Dispositif (10, 20) selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un registre 27, pour mémoriser au moins une valeur (IDJX)MO) de configuration autorisant ledit dispositif à communiquer avec ledit au moins un ordinateur (30, 30').
4. Système (1) de radiologie dentaire, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte au moins un dispositif (10, 20) d'acquisition d'image (I) radiologique dentaire conforme à l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3 et au moins un ordinateur (30, 30') comportant des moyens de communication sans fil (32) pour communiquer avec ledit dispositif.
