  • the present invention relates, in general, to a drying and carbonizing system for treating organic and waste matter, such as sludge, food waste and other domestic refuse and, more particularly, to a drying and carbonizing system which uses waste gas, generated during the process of drying and carbonizing the organic matter input through the hopper, as a fuel, and in which a combustion furnace is directly connected to a carbonizing furnace so that the high temperature heat generated from the combustion furnace passes through both the carbonizing furnace and a drying furnace, thus reducing fuel consumption, enhancing heat efficiency, and completely treating wastewater generated from organic matter.
  • an object of the present invention is to provide a drying and carbonizing system which has a structure capable of treating organic matter, such as sludge or food waste, and waste matter, such as waste wood or waste vinyl, through a simple treatment process, and in which fuel is used only at an initial ignition stage and during a temperature increasing time, but gas and steam occurring when drying and carbonizing organic and waste matters are used as fuel after that time and, as well, any kind of inexpensive fuel can be used as fuel, thus being highly economical in this age of high oil prices.

As well, any kind of inexpensive fuel can be used as a fuel. Accordingly, the present invention is economical. Furthermore, because high temperature is maintained during the treatment process, the present invention can completely neutralize organic hazardous gas and odors generated from organic matter when drying and carbonizing the organic matter, thus being environmentally-friendly. Moreover, the present invention can ensure the stability and reliability of output matter, and can be used in a variety of industrial fields.
