- the present invention relates to a box made by folding and setting volume of a plate of semi-rigid plastic material and intended to receive sterile products.
- honeycomb plastic cases are used which are treated together in an enclosure sterilization with the products they contain.
- One method is to fill the box with the product concerned from manufacture and not yet sterile, then to submit the assembly to a sterilization treatment with a suitable gas, such as EtO (ethylene oxide) in a - enclosure hermetic. After a determined exposure time, up to 75 hours, the gas is removed from the enclosure and replaced by air before the product is removed from the enclosure. The treated product is thus shipped to its cashier without further handling before arriving at its destination.

- the gas used for the sterilization treatment is inherently very toxic because it must remove any germ, it is ensured that traces of gas do not remain trapped inside the package.
- the processing procedures implemented are designed to ensure complete security for the operators and agents responsible for handling the boxes, especially at the exit of the treatment enclosure.
- Sheets of cellular plastic material denotes plates consisting of at least two parallel flat sheets kept at a distance from one another by partitions parallel to each other. The sheets and the partitions form between them longitudinal channels which are designated cells in the field. These plates are obtained by extrusion of a plastic material chosen according to the application, such as a polyolefin, through a straight die. Immediately downstream of the extrusion head the material still in the plastic state passes between calibration plates to freeze the shape of the plate.
