  • This invention relates to detectors of alcoholic vapour and is intended to provide a convenient and reliable apparatus for the detection of alcohol on the breath of a person driving or about to drive a motor vehicle.
  • a detector of exhaled alcohol vapour comprises an enclosure incorporated in or mounted on a sun visor of a motor vehicle, an sensor of alcohol vapour within the enclosure, the enclosure including at least one aperture by which the vapour can reach the sensor and an electrical circuit for providing an indicating signal in response to the sensor.
