With the holding elements, the prosthesis parts can be handled by the marking elements, it is possible to determine their position and orientation relative to the bone, in which the prosthesis parts are used to determine exactly. It is essential that the holding element, which may optionally be connected to a marking element, occupies a precisely reproducible position relative to the prosthesis part. For this reason, one has previously connected the metallic prosthesis parts with holding elements, which also consist of metal. However, it has been found that when handling the risk that the projections and recesses are damaged on the prosthesis parts by the patch on the projections and inserted into the recesses retaining elements. Abstract
