Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de préhension (8, 13) de tuyau permettant de saisir et de transporter des longueurs (7) de tuyaux. Le dispositif comprend au moins un appareil de préhension (16) comportant deux mâchoires de préhension opposées (16a, 16b). Les mâchoires de préhension (16a, 16b) présentent au moins deux extensions (17, 18), chacune d'elles étant conçue pour saisir une longueur de tuyau (7), ce qui permet à l'appareil de préhension (16) de saisir au moins deux longueurs de tuyaux en même temps. L'invention concerne, de plus, une description d'une installation (12) de stockage intermédiaire (12) permettant le stockage intermédiaire de longueurs de tuyaux (7), laquelle est disposée comme un stockage en mezzanine, entre une position de perforation sur une plate-forme de perforation (2) et une râtelier à tube (6) principal.
