Abstract

L'invention concerne un additif comprenant une polyalphaoléfine (PAO), une source de calcium et une ou plusieurs huiles végétales de haricots, semences ou racines, tels de l'huile de ricin, l'huile de jojoba, l'huile de colza (canola), l'huile de palme, l'huile de noix de coco, l'huile de tournesol, l'huile de soya, etc., ou des composants dérivés de celles-ci. La composition préférée comprend une source de calcium, PAO, de l'huile de ricin, de l'huile de jojoba et un ester méthylique de soja et/ou de l'huile/ester de colza. L'additif peut être utilisé dans des lubrifiants améliorant les performances des composants métalliques ferreux et non ferreux de moteurs, armes et autres engins.
