Description

[DESCRIPTION] [Invention Title]
VESSEL FOR COOKING
[Technical Field]
The present invention relates to a vessel for cooking, such as a meat or fish grill or a stewpot.
[Background Art]
Korean Patent No. 0,313,190 discloses a grill, which comprises a base portion having a double structure. That is, the base portion includes an upper base plate and a lower base plate formed on the lower surface of the upper base plate. The central part of the upper base plate is protruded upwardly and the central part of the lower base plate is protruded also. Grooves having concentric circular shapes are formed in the bottom surface of the lower base plate, and a space is formed between the upper base plate and the lower base plate so powder for radiating far-infrared rays fills the space.
Since the powder for radiating far-infrared rays directly fills the space between the upper base plate and the lower base plate, a process for manufacturing the conventional grill is complicate. Further, since it is substantially impossible to completely fill the space with the powder for radiating far-infrared rays, the powder for radiating far-infrared rays moves in the space, thereby generating noise. Particularly, when the grill is heated, air in the space is expanded to a higher degree than the upper and lower base plates, which are made of a metal, thereby breaking bonding portions between the upper and lower base plates. The powder for radiating far-infrared rays, which is uniformly distributed in the space between the upper base plate and the lower base plate, exhibits an excellent far-infrared ray radiating effect. However, when food is cooked by the grill, the powder for radiating far-infrared rays cannot satisfactorily generate convection currents due to a difference of temperatures of the base portion, thereby causing stock generated by cooking to easily overflow the grill.
[Disclosure] [Technical Problem]
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a vessel for cooking, which comprises a heat accumulation plate installed between an upper base plate and a lower base plate for exhibiting heat-accumulating and convention- inducing effects, and smoothly exhausts expanded air between the upper base plate and the lower base plate, thereby being safely used.
[Technical Solution]
In accordance with an aspect of the present invention, the above and other objects can be accomplished by the provision of a vessel for cooking comprising: an upper base plate and a lower base plate, which are bonded to each other at a flange portion and a side wall portion and are separated from each other by a designated interval at a bottom portion so as to form a space; a heat accumulation plate, having stone dust contained therein, inserted into the space of the bottom portion; and air exhaust holes formed through an extended end of the lower base plate forming the flange portion.
Preferably, the heat accumulation plate may comprise a first circular plate having grooves having concentric circular shapes formed in outer and inner portions thereof and flat parts formed between the grooves; and a second circular plate contacting the flat parts of the first circular plate and having a bent frame bonded to a side wall part of the first circular plate.
[Advantageous Effects]
The vessel for cooking of the present invention smoothly exhausts expanded air at a high pressure, generated from the inside of the bottom portion during heating, to the outside so as to have excellent safety, induces convection currents on the bottom portion so as to effectively prevent stock of a dish from overflowing the cooking vessel, has uniformly good quality, and is manufactured at low production costs.
[Description of Drawings]
The above and other objects, features and other advantages of the present invention will be more clearly understood from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a vessel for cooking in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention;
FIG. 2 is an enlarged sectional view taken along the line A-A of FIG. 1 ; and
FIG. 3 is a partial sectional view of a heat accumulation plate of FIG. 2.
[Best Mode]
Now, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the annexed drawings.
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, a vessel for cooking in accordance with the embodiment of the present invention comprises an upper base plate 18 and a lower base plate 20, which are bonded to each other at a flange portion 10 and a side wall portion 12 and are separated from each other by a designated interval at a bottom portion 14 so as to form a space 16. A heat accumulation plate 24 having stone dust contained therein is inserted into the space 16 of the bottom portion 14, and air exhaust holes 26 for exhausting air expanded during heating from the space 16 to the outside are formed through the extended end 20' of the lower base plate 20. As shown in FIG. 3, the heat accumulation plate 24 of the vessel for cooking of the present invention comprises a first circular plate 38, which has grooves 28 and 30 having concentric circular shapes formed in outer and inner portions thereof and flat parts 29 and 31 formed between the grooves 28 and 30, and a second circular plate 38, which contacts the flat parts 29 and 31 of the first circular plate 38 and has a bent frame 36 bonded to a side wall part 34 of the first circular plate 32. The stone dust is contained in the grooves 28 and 30.
Protrusion parts 40 corresponding to the groves 28 and 30 of the first circular plate 32 of the heat accumulation plate 24 are formed on the lower base plate 20, thereby allowing the heat accumulation plate 24 to be placed on the lower base plate 20 without movement.
When the above vessel for cooking of the present invention is heated in the state as show in FIG. 2, expanded air at a high pressure generated from the inside of the heat accumulation plate 24 or the space 16 of the bottom portion 14 passes through gaps formed in the side wall portion 12, and is smoothly exhausted to the outside through the air exhaust holes 26 formed through the lower part of the flange portion 10. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the cooking vessel from being broken. Thereby, the vessel for cooking of the present invention can be safely used.
Portions (a) which are heated to a relatively high temperature and portions (b) which are heated to a relatively low temperature occur on the bottom portion 14 due to the heat accumulation plate 24 having the stone dust 22 contained along in concentric circular shapes, thereby causing a difference of temperatures of the bottom portion 14 and thus generating convection currents.
Accordingly, it is possible to effectively prevent stock, produced when a dish having a large amount of the stock, such as a stew, is cooked, from overflowing the cooking vessel.
The vessel for cooking of the present invention is manufactured by a finishing process after the heat accumulation plate 24 having the stone dust contained therein is inserted between the upper base plate 18 and the lower base plate 20, thus being easily manufactured and drastically reducing production costs. [Industrial Applicability]
As apparent from the above description, the present invention provides a vessel for cooking, which smoothly exhausts expanded air at a high pressure, generated from the inside of a bottom portion during heating, to the outside of the cooking vessel so as to have excellent safety, induces convection currents on the bottom portion so as to effectively prevent stock of a dish from overflowing the cooking vessel, has uniformly good quality, and is manufactured at low production costs.
Although the preferred embodiment of the present invention has been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
