Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil d’affichage stéréoscopique pour effectuer à la fois un affichage stéréoscopique et un affichage plan. L'appareil ci-décrit détermine, en fonction d’informations sur la détermination du mode d’affichage contenues dans les données image, le mode d’affichage à employer parmi deux, un mode d’affichage stéréoscopique ou un mode d’affichage plan (étape S103). Lorsqu’il est déterminé que le mode d’affichage plan doit être utilisé (Non à l’étape S103), un moyen d’affichage est piloté selon un deuxième état selon lequel le moyen d’affichage consomme moins d’énergie électrique qu’en mode d’affichage stéréoscopique (étape S107) de façon à effectuer un affichage plan (étape S109).
