Abstract

L'invention porte sur un appareil de chargement de pneus et sur un procédé d'empilement de pneus qui consiste à placer les pneus dans un support, à les comprimer et à assembler le support. L'appareil comprend un ou plusieurs transporteurs, des scanners et des robots qui chargent les pneus sur un support à partir d'un transporteur. L'invention porte également sur un appareil de déchargement de pneus comprenant un mécanisme à ciseaux permettant de soulever et/ou d'abaisser les supports contenant les pneus vers une plate-forme de déchargement. L'appareil de déchargement comprend de plus un ou plusieurs systèmes de déchargement et un ou plusieurs transporteurs. Le tri et le déchargement des pneus s'effectuent au moyen d'un ou plusieurs transporteurs automatisés, de scanners et de structures de stockage de façon à relever les informations sur les pneus entrants et à utiliser ces informations pour trier et stocker les pneus. L'invention porte également sur un support permettant d'améliorer la compression et le support des pneus pendant leur stockage et leur expédition.
