Significantly, at the outset, a reading of 4 ppm (parts per million) of dissolved oxygen was measured in each container. After 118 days, 1.43 ppm of dissolved oxygen was measured in the container produced in accordance with the present invention. The lowest reading of the remaining containers was 2.18 ppm of dissolved oxygen which was measured in the EVOH based DS34ES product. A reading of 4.22 ppm was measured in the metalized polyester based Hybar container.
