Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'augmenter l'efficacité d'une turbine à gaz combustible par refroidissement de l'air de combustion. Selon ce procédé, une première étape consiste à obtenir un échangeur thermique possédant un premier trajet de fluides et un second trajet de fluides, de façon qu'un échange thermique ait lieu entre des fluides passant le long du premier trajet de fluides et des fluides passant le long du second trajet de fluides. Une deuxième étape consiste à abaisser la pression du gaz combustible afin de satisfaire des exigences de pression d'orifice d'entrée de combustible pour la turbine à gaz combustible, l'abaissement de la pression ayant pour résultat un abaissement de la température du gaz combustible. Une troisième étape consiste à diriger le gaz combustible à faible température à travers le premier trajet de fluides de l'échangeur thermique et l'air de combustion à travers le second trajet de fluides de l'échangeur thermique afin qu'un échange thermique se produise, lequel augmente la température du gaz combustible et abaisse la température de l'air de combustion.
