A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EXERCISE CONTROL OF
FITNESS CENTER SUITABLE FOR MEMBER'S HEALTH
CONDITION AND APPARATUS USED THEREIN Technical Field [1] This invention is about exercise management and method of fitness center suitable for member's health condition and apparatus and exercise method management equipment used in this system, specifically about exercise management system and method and exercise method management system used in this system which provide proper exercise method suitable for exercise result and member's health condition according the physical result and member's health condition and apparatus measured everyday. Background Art [2] In modern era with developed science and technology, over-nutrition has been occurred by surging food production, but many adult diseases including obesity, high blood pressure, and diabetes have been threatening health by insufficient exercise as automation goes. [3] But recently many people manage their health through eating habit improvement which considers calory intake as wide advertisement of health and people's interests rise. One is to exercise in fitness center, which many people love because they can easily use it in their busy lives and can do systematically exercise using various exercise stuffs. [4] But, in general, the exercise program conducted in fitness center is determined by the unilateral exercise prescription of trainer after measuring basic physical strength or body measurement, and the program was changed after suitable period. So there is a problem which the exercise program can't be rapidly changed according to the change of member's health condition or environment. [5] In addition, there is a problem which the next exercise program is done by rule of thumb because the accumulation of exercise data for using health stuffs of members and the exercise result can't be properly estimated. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem [6] This invention is to solve these problems, and provide proper exercise method suitable for member's health condition and apparatus measured everyday. [7] Another purpose of this invention is to quickly provide objective exercise program
according to analysis of exercise progress by recording and managing exercise progress of members. [8] Another purpose of this invention is to provide portable exercise method management equipment which makes members easily receive suitable exercise program for member's health condition and apparatus. Technical Solution [9] The exercise management system of fitness center suitable for member's health condition and apparatus according to the one side of this invention to achieve the tech¬ nological achievements, includes measurement method which measures body sizes of members; exercise method management equipment which receives health condition and apparatus of members input through measurement method in exercise according to the exercise method, provides proper exercise method to members, and transmits through the network; and terminal for providing exercise method which prescribes and saves exercise methods by receiving exercise results and health condition and apparatus of members in exercise according to the exercise method by the exercise method management equipment according to the input member information and the measurement methods in joining membership; [10] The exercise management method of fitness center suitable for member's health condition and apparatus according to the one side of this invention to achieve the tech¬ nological achievements, includes stages which member inputs his or her information using exercise method terminal; member transmits his or her physical information measured using measurement method through the exercise method terminal; which generates exercise program after the exercise method terminal analyzes received member and physical information and stores it to data base; measured members requires proper exercise method for him or her to exercise method terminal through exercise stuffs; and the exercise method terminal provides proper exercise method to the exercise stuffs. [11] Desirably, the information includes gender, age, clinical history, exercise purpose, and so on. Advantageous Effects [12] According to this invention, member can do exercise suitable for member's health condition by providing proper exercise method on the health condition checked every time when the member visits to the fitness center. [13] According to the another aspect of this invention, member can do exercise suitable for exercise progress by proving next exercise program which reflects the result and analyzes the previous exercise result. [14] According to the another aspect of this invention, the member can easily receive the
exercise program prescribed for his or her own condition and transmit the exercise result data by using the portable exercise method management equipment. Brief Description of the Drawings [15] Fig 1. shows the overall configuration of the exercise control system of fitness center suitable for member's health condition and apparatus by this invention. [16] Fig 2. shows the block diagram which depicts functional organization of exercise control of fitness center suitable for member's health condition and apparatus by following desirable examples of this invention. [17] Fig 3. shows the block diagram which depicts the configuration of terminal providing method for exercise by following desirable examples of this invention. [18] Fig 4. shows the block diagram which depicts functional organization of management equipment of exercise method used in exercise management system of fitness center suitable for member's health condition and apparatus by this invention. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention [19] I will explain the proper examples of this invention referring to attached drawing. Prior to this, the terms or words used in this details and claim should not be interpreted conventionally or literally, but be interpreted with meaning and concept suitable for technical thinking based on the principle that inventor can properly define the concept of words to explain his or her invetion with the best way. So the examples written on this detail and configuration depicted on this drawing are only the most desirable example of this invention and not represent all technical thinking of this invention, so you should understand that there may be various homogeneous stuffs and changing examples which can replace these when thin invention issues patent. [20] Fig 1. shows the overall organization of exercise management system for fitness center suitable for member's health condition and apparatus by this invention. Referring to the drawing, the exercise management system of fitness center by this invention is consisted of measurement method which measures member's body (10), exercise method management equipment which provides proper exercise method to members and transmits exercise result data by this (20), exercise apparatus (30) which has sensor and telecommunication module to transmit physical information and exercise result to the exercise method management equipment (20), and exercise method terminal (100) which provides proper exercise method to member to exercise method management equipment (20). [21] The measuring equipment (10), exercise method management equipment (20), exercise apparatus (30) and exercise method terminal (100) are connected through wire and wireless telecommunication network in fitness center and data transmission and receiving is done. If you consider that the fitness center is an indoor place where there
are many people's activities, it is desirable to construct the network wireless. We will take issue modules which wireless LAN card or Bluetooth module is embedded and suitable for wireless telecommunication even though there is no separate mention to the telecommunication unit (telecommunication module) which conducts data transmission. [22] The measurement method (10) measures member's health condition before exercise and transmits to the exercise method terminal (100), so the exercise method terminal (100) can prescribe proper exercise method according to varying health condition of member. [23] The exercise method management equipment (20) receives properly prescribed exercise program from the exercise method terminal (100) and transmits exercise result data got by exercise according to the exercise program and makes the exercise method done next time properly prescribe again based on this. [24] The exercise apparatus (30) includes treadmill, health cycle, and so on, member whose body size is measured through measuring instrument (10) does his or her exercise according to the exercise method provided from the exercise method terminal (100). Meanwhile, receiving and transmitting module for data transmission and sensor are attached to the exercise apparatus (30) and body information in exercising measured with sensor and exercise result are transmitted to the exercise method management equipment (20) through the telecommunication module. [25] The exercise method terminal (100) analyzes member's information and body in¬ formation measured by the measurement method (10) and provides proper exercise method and prescribes exercise method according to body information and exercise progress again. [26] Fig 2. shows the block diagram that the functional configuration of the exercise management system of fitness center suitable for member's body condition by the desirable example of this invention. Referring to the drawing, the measuring method (10) is consisted of sensor unit (10a) which measures member's body, identification unit (10b) which identifies members, display unit (10c) which displays measurement result to members, control unit (1Od) which controls input and output of various data of the measurement method (10), operating unit (1Oe) which operates interface with members and the measurement method (10), storage unit (1Of) which stores various data processed in control unit (2Od), and transmission unit (1Og) which transmits measured result to the exercise method terminal (100). [27] The sensor unit (10a) measures health condition including weight, hyperlipogenesis, blood glucose levels, and so on and outputs to the control unit (1Od). Of course, the measured things are not limited to above, but extended to various items. [28] The identification unit (10b) is prepared to identity whose bodies are measured and
ID card identifier which identifies ID card issued in signing membership or finger print identifier can be used. [29] And the measured result is transmitted to the exercise method terminal (100) through the transmission unit (1Of) by the sensor unit (10a) and member operates operation unit (1Od) using operation unit (1Oe). [30] So, member can measure health condition before exercise, and can do exercise suitable for health condition by exercising with the exercise program based on this. [31] Meanwhile, the exercise method management equipment (20) is consisted of the display unit (20a) which displayed received exercise method, control unit (20c) which controls various data of the exercise method management equipment (20) following the operation unit (20b), store unit (2Od) which stores various data processed in the control unit (20c), and telecommunication unit (2Oe) which transmits and receives data to the exercise method terminal (100). [32] The display unit (20a) displays the exercise method provided from the exercise method terminal (100). The displayed exercise method is differently shown as the kind of exercise apparatus inputted through the operation unit (20b). [33] For example, like treadmill, it can show 'for 20 minutes with 20km/hr.' Meanwhile, member can remotely control exercise apparatus with the exercise method indicated on indication unit (20a) and also receive and transmit data with telecommunication module and the exercise method terminal (100) prepared to the exercise apparatus through the operation unit (20b). So the exercise method management equipment (20) is received exercise result data measured by various sensors through the telecom¬ munication module, that can require transmission of suitable exercise method for member and can transmit data of the received exercise result data to the exercise method terminal (100). [34] Meanwhile, the exercise apparatus (30) is consisted of the indication unit (30a) which indicates exercise condition in exercise, the control unit (30c) which controls data receive and transmission and exercise apparatus when member operates the operating unit (30b), the driving unit (30d) which drives the exercise apparatus, sensor unit which measures member's heath condition and exercise result, store unit which stores various data processed in the control unit (30c), and telecommunication module (30g) which receives and transmits data with the exercise method management equipment (30). [35] According to the exercise method displyed on the indication unit (20a) of the exercise method management equipment (20), member control the control unit (30c) through the operation unit (30b), and can operate when the control signal is delivered to the driving unit (2Od) in the control unit (30c). Of course as mentioned before, remote control can be done by the operation unit (20b) of the exercise method
management equipment (20). [36] Also, the automatic operation is only for automatic apparatus like treadmill, and if '20 times with 10kg' is displayed, member should do his or her exercise after measuring weight shown on the indication unit (20a) of the exercise method management equipment (20). When doing exercise, the sensor unit (30e) notices member's health condition (heart beating, breathing, pulse) and exercise result (i.e. exercise time and distance for the treadmill, time and weight for the bench press) and stores sensing data to the store unit (30f) through the control unit (2Od). [37] So the member's health condition and exercise result measured in the exercise are transmitted to the exercise method management equipment (20) through the telecom¬ munication module (30g). [38] So, the exercise method terminal (100) can take the member's health condition and exercise result in exercise and give more scientific exercise prescription based on the information of previous exercise result. [39] Fig 3. shows the block diagram which depicts the configuration of the exercise method terminal following desirable example of this invention. Referring to the drawing, the exercise method terminal (100) includes central process unit (110), RAM (140), memory unit (160), input unit (120), display unit (130), telecommunication unit (150), and data base (170). [40] The central process unit (110) runs program reading through the RAM (140) from the memory unit (160). Also, the central unit (110) controls each part of the exercise method terminal. [41] RAM (140) is consisted of the semiconductor memory, used as the main memory sector of the central process unit (110), and has working memory to load program. [42] The memory unit (160) is consisted of recording material including magnetic disk unit and has the mobile program recording module (160a) described after. [43] The exercise program recording module (160a) takes and analyzes information of member information data base (170a), member health condition data base (170b), and exercise result data base (17Od), generates the exercise program suitable for member, and the generated exercise program is stored to the exercise program data bast (170c) by receiving control of the central process unit (110). [44] The input unit (120) is consisted of keyboard and so on. The fitness center operator can input member's data (name, ID, age, gender, exercise purpose, clinical history) in registering through the input unit (120). [45] The display unit (130) is consisted of CRT or LCD, displays the process result of the central process unit and shows it to the operator. [46] The telecommunication unit (150) is a device which receives and transmits data with the exercise apparatus and measuring instrument and is desirable to use wireless
LAN card or RF wireless telecommunication to be implemented with wireless telecommunication network mentioned before. [47] The data base (170) is consisted of the exercise program data base (170c) which stores programs of member generated by the member's health condition data base (170b) measured by measuring instruments when member visits to fitness center and the exercise program recording module (160a) and the exercise result data base (17Od) which stores exercise result according to the exercise result which member conducts (exercise time and distance for treadmill and times and weight for the bench press) and member's health condition (i.e. heart beating, breathing, pulse) measured in exercise. [48] The method of managing exercise of fitness center suitable for member's health condition formed above referring to Fig 4 is as follows; [49] First, the person who wants to be member provides his or her information (S 100) through the exercise method terminal (100) and receives his or her ID by storing the information to the member data base. Next, measuring his or her boy using measuring instrument installed in fitness center, transmits member ID and measurement result to the terminal (SIlO), and stores to member information data base. If the member requires to transmit the exercise method (S 120) through the operation unit (20c) of the exercise method management equipment (20), the exercise program recording module (160a) of the exercise method terminal (100) generates the exercise method which analyzes member information and body (S 130) and transmits to the exercise method management equipment (20). The member does his or her exercise following the transmitted exercise method (S 140), the exercise apparatus (30) measures member's health condition and exercise result and transmits to the exercise method management equipment (20) in finishing exercise (S 150). The exercise method terminal receives the member's health condition and exercise result from the exercise method management equipment (30) and stores to the exercise result data base. After that, visit fitness center again, measure his or her body, transmits the result to the exercise method terminal (100) (S 160) and stores to the member's health condition data base. If the member requires the transmission of the exercise method through operation unit (20c) of the exercise method management equipment (S 170), it prescribes the exercise method based on the result of previous exercise stored to the body measurement and exercise result data base again (S 180), transmits to the exercise method management equipment (30), and does his or her exercise with transmitted exercise method (S 190). [50] The technical achievement of this invention is done by these technical con¬ figuration, even though this invention is explained with limited examples and drawing, this invention isn't limited to this, and various edit and change can be done of course within the equivocal range of the patent issue written below and the technical thinking of this invention by people who have common knowledge in the technical sector for
