Abstract

本発明は、寿命特性に優れた有機エレクトロルミネセンス素子、並びに、素子を劣化させることなく、短時間で簡便に寿命特性の良否を判別することができる有機エレクトロルミネセンス素子の検査装置及び検査方法、並びに、有機エレクトロルミネセンス表示装置を提供する。本発明は、少なくとも発光層を含む1層以上の有機層を電極で挟持する構造を有する有機エレクトロルミネセンス素子であって、上記有機エレクトロルミネセンス素子は、フォトルミネセンス強度が温度依存性を有し、300Kにおけるフォトルミネセンス強度が300K未満のいずれかの温度におけるフォトルミネセンス強度、好ましくは5Kにおけるフォトルミネセンス強度よりも強い有機エレクトロルミネセンス素子である。
