Abstract

Durch die vorliegende Erfindung wird erstmals eine OLED offenbart, in der durch geschickte Anbringung zumindest einer Schicht aus einem Co-Polyarylboranpolymer zwischen die Kathode und die Emitterschicht und/oder zwischen die Anode und die Emitterschicht die Lebensdauer einer OLED enorm gesteigert wird. Dies gelingt, weil das Co-Polyarylboranpolymer sich sowohl als lochblockende als auch als elektronenanziehende Zwischenschicht einsetzen lässt. Durch den Einsatz zumindest einer solchen Schicht kann insbesondere der Bereich, in dem Rekombination stattfindet und die Balance der Ladungsträger einer OLED besser kontrolliert und gesteuert werden.
