 ドーパントとしての機能を有する繰り返し単位とホストとしての機能を有する繰り返し単位を含む高分子化合物、該高分子化合物を含む有機エレクトロルミネッセンス用材料、陽極、陰極、及び、該陽極と該陰極に挟持された少なくとも1層からなる有機化合物層を含んでなり、該有機化合物層の少なくとも1層が発光層であり、該有機化合物層が前記有機エレクトロルミネッセンス用材料を含有する有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子であり、発光材料として有用で、寿命、発光効率等の素子特性に優れた高分子エレクトロルミネッセンス素子を実現することができる高分子化合物を提供する。
