Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système (10) de surveillance de la vitesse et de la position d'un véhicule (V) dans une zone donnée. Dans ce système, on utilise un système mondial de localisation (20) relié à une unité informatisée (40) et à un circuit de mémoire ou de stockage (60), on compare le relevé de position et la vitesse à une carte infographique comprenant la zone dans laquelle des limites prédéterminées sont fixées, pour la vitesse et la zone, sur des périodes et des jours prédéterminés de la semaine. Si une limite est dépassée, les informations de relevé de position et de vitesse sont stockées en même temps que le moment où cela s'est produit. Les informations stockées peuvent être éventuellement transmises à un endroit éloigné pour un traitement ultérieur. Des circuits d'alarme (70) sont également prévus à l'intérieur du véhicule (V) pour alerter sélectivement les occupants qu'une limite a été dépassée.
