Abstract

Eine verbesserte Impedanzwandlervorrichtung umfasst einen elektrisch leitenden Außenleiter (1) mit einer oder mehreren Anschlussstellen für elektrische Leitungen, einen elektrisch leitenden Innenleiter (2) mit einer oder mehreren Anschlussstellen für elektrische Leitungen sowie ein zwischen Außenleiter (1) und Innenleiter (2) angeordnetes Dielektrikum (3). Die Vorrichtung zeichnet sich durch folgende Merkmale aus:- der Außenleiter (1) umfasst eine Grundfläche (la), welche von einer oder mehreren Seitenwänden (lb , lc, id, le) begrenzt ist, wodurch ein Außenleitergehäuse mit einem Innenraum und einer der Grundfläche (la) gegenüberliegenden Öffnung gebildet wird; - in dem Innenraum ist der Innenleiter (2) angeordnet, wobei der Innenleiter (2) und der Außenleiter (1) durch das Dielektrikum (3) voneinander isoliert sind; der Innenleiter (2) umfasst wenigstens einen stegförmigen Abschnitt (2a, 2b) mit einem Stegboden (21; 21') und wenigstens einer Stegwand (22, 23; 22', 23'), die sich aus dem Stegboden (21; 21') in Richtung zur Öffnung des Außenleitergehäuses erstreckt.
