Abstract

In einem galvanischen Element mit einer Anode (4), einer Kathode (3), einem zwischenliegenden Separator (1) und einem Elektrolyten ist der Separator auf mindestens einer Seite mit einer dünnen porösen metallischen Schicht beschichtet. Die metallische Schicht besteht vorzugsweise aus Al, Cu, Ag, V, Ti, Cr, Fe, Ni, Co oder Legierungen dieser Metalle oder aus einem korrosionsbeständigen Edelstahl. Die Schichtdicke des Metalls auf dem Separator (1) liegt insbesondere im Bereich von 10 nm bis 1.000 nm, vorzugsweise zwischen 20 nm und 500 nm. Die metallische Schicht ist dabei vorzugsweise auf den Separator (1) aufgedampft. Insbesondere ist mindestens eine der Elektroden (3, 4) eine Lithium-interkalierende Elektrode, wobei die metallische Schicht auf dem Separator (1) auf der Anodenseite (4) aus Cu und auf der Kathodenseite (3) aus AI besteht und der poröse Separator aus PP, PE, PVDF oder einer Kombination dieser Polymere besteht.
