Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine organische Leuchtdiode (OLED) mit verbesserter Lebensdauer und verbessertem Transport negativer Ladungsträger. Die organische Leuchtdiode auf der Basis eines organischen halbleitenden Materials, in dem der Transport negativer Ladungsträger und die Stabilität bezüglich Reduktion durch triarylierte Lewissäure-Einheiten, insbesondere durch perarylierte Boraneinheiten, bestimmt werden. Dies führt zu einer verbesserten Lebensdauer der Emissionsschicht, was zum einen die Lebensdauer des Bauteils erhöht und ein Nachregeln der Helligkeit während des Betriebs vermeidet. Außerdem betrifft die Erfindung solche organische Leuchtdioden, in denen durch triarylierte Lewissäuren wie perarylierte Boraneinheiten die Lage der Emissionszone in der Emitterschicht und die Farbe der Emission gezielt beeinflusst werden können.
