Abstract

L'invention concerne un générateur de faisceaux de particules comprenant une chambre sous vide, un aimant qui génère un champ magnétique constant dans ladite chambre sous vide, des électrodes d'accélération qui génèrent un champ magnétique dans un sens perpendiculaire au sens du champ magnétique généré par l'aimant dans la chambre sous vide, une électrode de sortie qui évacue les particules chargées accélérées dans la chambre sous vide; et une cellule cible placée à une position dans laquelle les particules chargées évacuées par l'électrode de sortie frappent. Au moins une partie des surfaces exposées aux particules chargées de la chambre sous vide, les électrodes d'accélération, l'électrode de sortie et/ou la cellule cible sont constituées d'un matériau comprenant un élément dont le nombre atomique est plus grand que celui du cuivre.
