Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un protocole de gestion d'une redondance de télécommunications en fonction de l'emplacement, pouvant fonctionner à une jonction topologique de communication de données au niveau de laquelle existent au moins deux supports de télécommunications. Ce protocole comprend les étapes suivantes: (1) lors d'une demande de traitement d'appel émanant d'un appelant et à destination d'un destinataire, un premier logiciel au niveau de la jonction accède à un emplacement sensiblement courant associé au destinataire par exemple, au moyen du dernier emplacement présent connu du téléphone mobile du destinataire; et (2) au moyen de cet emplacement courant, un second logiciel au niveau de la jonction transmet la demande de 'sonnerie' aux deux dispositifs récepteurs d'appels les plus proches de l'emplacement courant - l'un des ces dispositifs étant un dispositif de télécommunication mobile du destinataire et l'autre dispositif étant un dispositif terrestre de ce destinataire qui est plus proche de l'emplacement courant du destinataire.
