Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de déterminer le module d'élasticité du bois vert, qui consiste à évaluer l'atténuation des rayons gamma traversant au moins deux zones du bois vert, à évaluer l'épaisseur du bois d'oeuvre, à produire un choc sur une extrémité de ce bois d'oeuvre, à y détecter les vibrations provoquées par le choc, à évaluer sa longueur, à évaluer sa vitesse acoustique en fonction de ses vibrations et de sa longueur, à déterminer sa densité à partir de l'atténuation des rayons gamma et de l'évaluation de son épaisseur, et à déterminer son module d'élasticité à partir de sa vitesse acoustique déterminée et de sa densité.
