  • the fixed guide is fastened on the inner walls of the respective furniture member while the outer pull out bracket or channel is disposed on the bottom surface of the drawer member 5.
  • the intermediate pull out channel 30 fits slidably onto the outer pull out channel.
  • the intermediate pull out channel slides smoothly with the aid of the first roller unit provided on both ends of the said intermediate pull out channel.
  • the intermediate pull out channel fits slidably onto the fixed guide.
  • the fixed guide is fastened accordingly to the inner sidewalls of the furniture member by rivets or the like.

  • roller member 15 on said intermediate pull out channel 30 provide rolling contacts between the intermediate pull out channel and the fixed guide as well as the outer pull out channel.
  • the outer pull out channel is permanently connected or secured to the side surface of the drawer by suitable fastening means or the like.
  • the intermediate pull out channel 30 can be moved relative to the first roller bearing and the running surface of the fixed guide together with the outer pull out channel which carries the drawer.
  • the removable external secondary stopper 10 is preferably fastened or rather clamped onto the top surface 30a of the intermediate pull out channel 30. It is understood that such attachment will not interfere the sliding movement of the guide rails. Further, at this position, the stopper can be removed without much complications or difficulty if desired.
  • the lever section of the stopper is connected or attached to the holder by shaft means as shown in the Figs. lb-Id.
  • the shaft means may preferably include a bar or suitable sized pin, fitting in the slot provided on the bending means, thus providing a pivotal connection.
  • the secondary stopper in accordance to present invention is biased in a direction as viewed in the said figure.
  • the holder 13 supports the lever pivotally and is secured onto the respective top surface of the intermediate pull out channel 30.
  • the clamp section 13a of the holder 13 fits suitably in a slot or opening provided on the top surface 30a of the intermediate pull out channel 30.
  • Another accordingly sized slot or opening is provided at a predetermined distance from the upper portion of the holder for insertion of the extension 10b provided at one end of the lever section during operation of the stop device.
  • the said extension fits slidably into the said recess or slot.
  • the extension projects downwards through the center web of the intermediate pull out channel 30 to the gap or space provided between the said center web and the upper vertical plate of said intermediate pull out channel.
  • the primary stopper when accordingly assembled projects upwardly through the center web of said intermediate pull out channel 30 into the space formed or provided between the center web and the first vertical plate of the intermediate pull out channel 30.
  • the outer pull out channel will travel relative to the intermediate pull out channel and the fixed guide to an extent in which at this point the roller unit provided on said fixed guide will first abut the primary stopper 11 on said intermediate pull out channel.
  • Such abutment may prevent sliding movement of the outer pull out channel as well as the intermediate pull out channel.
  • the secondary stopper is fixed as shown in Figs. 2a-2c and 3a-3b.
  • the projection 10b of the secondary stopper is forced downwards until the projection drops into the opening and the front portion of the lever of the secondary stop device will be urged upwardly into a position such that the lower portion extension is thoroughly slotted into the respective opening provided on the drawer.
  • the front portion 10a of said lever is therefore urged downwards into a position such that the lever rests on the holder and therefore locking mechanism is accomplished.
  • the secondary stopper aids to halt further movement of the intermediate pull out channel and the outer pull out channel should the said roller member squeezed through the primary stopper 11 and subsequently surpasses the primary stopper due to the external force applied by the user in order to pull out the drawer 5 from the respective furniture member .
  • the extension 10b which projects downwardly through the opening and into the space between the center web and the top surface 30a of said intermediate pull out channel 30 will bump or abut the roller member 15 provided on the fixed guide during sliding movement and subsequently halt further sliding movement of the intermediate pull out channel and the outer pull out channel.
  • the roller member on said outer pull out channel whereby in this position has surpassed the resilient primary stopper 11 will therefore collide with the said extension thus preventing further sliding movement. This would in effect prevent accidental removal of the drawer 5.
  • the extension 10b is short enough to avoid interference with the respective sliding channel during movement of drawer but long enough to be engaged or abut by the roller unit on said intermediate pull out channel.
  • the user will only have to lift the front portion 10a of the lever from the slot provided on the top surface of the intermediate pull out channel thus unlocking the said lever means and withdrawing the extension 10b from said opening. In this position, the stopper is free to be completely removed from the intermediate pull out channel.
  • the holder 13 will preferably remain at the present position and will not interfere with the intermediate pull out channel 30 movement whenever the drawer is shoved into the respective furniture.
  • the drawer stopper of a second alternate mode is in the form of a lever as well, however is of altered structure than the stop device disclosed formerly. In this manner however, a holder is not required.
  • the stop device of this mode is accordingly fixed on the top surface of the intermediate pull out channel in a similar manner as the previous stop device.
  • a recess or opening is provided on the intermediate pull channel, accordingly sized to receive the lower portion of the lever which is referred herein as an extension 22.
  • a clip or clasp 20 like section for insertion into a recess or cavity which is provided on the intermediate pull out channel 30 at a predetermined length and subsequently locking the said lever onto the top surface of the intermediate pull out channel.
  • the operational effect of this particular mode is substantially similar to that of the formerly disclosed external stopper .
  • the lever of this mode is removed from the intermediate pull out channel 30 in a similar way to that of the formerly disclosed stopper.

  • the holder which defines the inlet of said peg is accordingly attached to said P - section and is inserted into a cavity provided on the intermediate pull out channel 30 in which the dimension of said aperture is slightly smaller in diameter to that of the resilient holder and extends through the said cavity or groove formed on the top surface of the intermediate pull out channel 30 for engagement to the roller means on said intermediate pull out channel and therefore limit further sliding movement of the intermediate pull out channel 30 and the outer pull out channel.
  • the peg In order to lock the stopper means of this mode onto the intermediate pull out channel 30, the peg is urged or forced into the inlet and therefore the inlet expands . Presumably, such expansion will lock the stopper of this mode to a stabilized position and all together hinder further sliding movement of the intermediate pull out channel and the outer pull out channel, due to the abutment mechanism incurred between the roller means on said intermediate channel and the protruding inlet: or holder.

Abstract

Butée conçue pour un tiroir de meuble et comprenant un système de rails composé d'un guide fixe relié aux parois latérales intérieures dudit meuble, un canal extérieur escamotable servant à supporter le tiroir et en constituant le guide, ledit canal étant fixé dans ledit tiroir aux parois latérales de ce dernier, ce canal escamotable intermédiaire (30) étant placé coulissant entre le guide fixe et ledit canal intermédiaire. La première butée (11) est placée sur le canal escamotable intermédiaire (30), de manière à limiter ou à ralentir le déplacement dudit canal (30), tandis que la deuxième butée (10) est, de préférence, montée sur ledit canal intermédiaire (30) afin de pratiquement arrêter tout autre glissement du système de rails. Ceci permet d'empêcher l'apparition de détériorations indésirables du tiroir dans le cas d'un chargement excessif.
