Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de production de solides à partir de matières premières. Ces matières sont soumises à un traitement de torréfaction continu à une température comprise entre 200 et 320 °C. Le chauffage s'effectue par le biais de gaz circulant qui entrent dans un échange thermique direct avec les matières premières acheminées jusqu'à la chambre de torréfaction. Les gaz libérés pendant la torréfaction sont calcinés, parallèlement à l'acheminement d'oxygène, et ils sont déchargés, après extraction de la chaleur du gaz de carneau ainsi produit. La chaleur provenant dudit gaz de carneau est utilisée pour chauffer le milieu gazeux amené dans la chambre de torréfaction. La production d'un effluent est empêchée du fait que le condensat formé lors du processus est calciné, facultativement, après des étapes de purification spécifiques.
