Abstract

From DE 44 409 78 C2 a showcase with a frame, which has vertically aligned profiles with luminous bodies, is already known, wherein in the showcase there, jewelry trays for the display of jewelry objects are arranged behind windows. The known showcase is rotatably mounted on a cross base and the jewelry objects and the inner surface of the windows are directly or indirectly illuminated by the light of the luminous bodies by means of reflectors which are located in the profiles. The lighting devices are preferably located in the corner areas of the display case and are designed as fluorescent tubes. In each corner of the showcase, three fluorescent tubes are to be arranged one above the other, the reflectors being designed as curved strips. Rod-shaped profiles, which are fixed to the supporting body, are used to attach the fluorescent tubes.

Due to the fact that the showcase briefly described above must already be closed on all sides for safety reasons, the arrangement of the illuminants within the showcase leads to an undesirable increase in temperature in the interior. In particular, when such showcases are in operation in the sales area of a retail store for many hours, internal temperature doors that are suitable for the objects presented, e.g. B. clocks to cause irreversible damage. There are also power losses in the case of fluorescent tubes, which cannot easily be dissipated to the outside via the closed housing.

A conceivable perforation in the floor area or in the top surface of the showcase is also unfavorable, since in this way a flow and thus cooling of the interior volume is possible, on the other hand, dirt and dust can get into the showcase unhindered, which is also due to the chimney effect is favored.

Another disadvantage of the known showcase with cross-leg support is the instability of the arrangement, in particular when its vertical extent approaches a critical dimension in relation to the dimensions of the cross-leg.

From the foregoing, it is therefore an object of the invention to provide a further developed display case consisting of a frame-like, n-angular support body which is rotatably supported by a pedestal, the showcase, which is to be electrically illuminated, not impermissibly high internal temperatures due to the Operation of the lighting means and which ensures sufficient stability and unhindered rotation for all-round viewing of the objects located in the showcase, even with very elongated or very high embodiments of the showcase body.

According to the invention, the support body of the display case accommodates a tubular, continuous axis in its interior, the axis supporting or guiding the base body as well as the cover surface of the support body via a bearing and / or a bushing. The lower end of the tubular, continuous axis is attached to the pedestal or merges into this pedestal. The illuminants in the corner areas, preferably fluorescent tubes, are on the base and cover fixed surface of the support body and are not in direct thermal contact with the surfaces, which the recording of the objects to be presented, z. In one embodiment of the invention, the support body is a polygon, but the surrounding frame is provided with a circular cross section, in which case the illuminants are spaced apart on the circumference of the frame.

The base and / or top surface of the supporting body simultaneously forms the lower or upper end surface of the display case.

As mentioned above, fluorescent tubes which are in a tubular socket are preferably used as the illuminant. The inside of this tubular socket can be provided with a coating reflecting infrared radiation. Furthermore, there is the possibility that a length section of the tubular frame is provided with a coating reflecting radiation in visible light, with the result that the highest possible light efficiency reaches the interior of the display case.

The cover panels preferably have a circular arc shape, consisting of the metallic perforated sheet material already mentioned. For better fastening and for an optimal overall aesthetic effect, the covers have a bevel on their steering sides.

The cover strips are snapped onto the base and top surface of the support body, e.g. B. held by a so-called snap-in connection. Of course, there is also the possibility of fixing these cover plates by means of screws or the like.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the tubular axis penetrates the top surface of the support body and projects outwards. This protruding end of the axis engages in a recess in a connecting plate, the connecting plate serving to guide a plurality of showcases arranged side by side. The recess can additionally be provided with a guide bush.

A channel-like intermediate space for optimized heat dissipation preferably remains between the respective outer side of the respective illuminant and the respective cover panel, but there is no connection of this channel space to the interior of the display case, so that the ingress of dirt and dust can be prevented.

The side surface covers of the frame are removable or can be opened. In a preferred embodiment, the side surface covers are designed as glass doors, which are secured via a network-independent, electronic lock. It is possible to provide the display case with an electronic rotary drive which sets the display case in rotary motion via a proximity switch or motor-assisted manual rotary motion triggered by the viewer. Such electromotive movement support is particularly advantageous in the case of very large showcases with a large mass to be moved.

The cover panels 12 can be color-matched and exchanged depending on the area of application, location and environment of the presentation showcase. In this way, there is a high degree of prefabrication for the essential functional elements of the showcase, without there being any restrictions on the individual adaptation of the overall appearance.

As indicated in FIG. 2, there is the possibility that the tubular axis 7 penetrates the top surface 9 upwards.
