Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de survie comprenant un gilet (11) de sauvetage porté sur une tenue (10) de vol et équipé d'une source (12) de gaz et d'un mécanisme (13) d'actionnement connectés à un kit de survie personnel (22) par un élément flexible non extensible, par exemple une corde (19). Lorsqu'un pilote (20) portant le système quitte l'avion, par exemple dans un siège éjectable (21), et ouvre son parachute (23), le kit de sécurité personnel (22) est séparé du pilote (20), provoquant la tension dudit élément (19), la tension de l'élément (19) entraînant le gonflement du gilet (11) de sauvetage. Le gilet (11) de sauvetage est ainsi gonflé en toute fiabilité avant que le pilote n'atteigne l'eau.
