- the present invention relates, in general, to safety helmets and, more particularly, to a safety helmet which has an improved structure in which a plurality of elements, such as an impact absorbing unit, a head support, a support band and a chin strap, are easily assembled, so that the elements are simply and promptly installed in the helmet body, and which has- a line guide hole between the helmet body and the impact absorbing unit which is installed in the helmet body, so as to easily couple a connector to a transceiver which is provided between the helmet body and the impact absorbing unit .

- the conventional safety helmets each include a helmet body 100 which has a hemispherical shape and covers the head of a wearer, and an impact absorbing unit 120 which is installed in the helmet body 100.

- the chin strap 180 is fastened to the helmet body 100 by the fastening brackets 110. Accordingly, a process of assembling the conventional safety helmet is inconvenient to the user. In addition, the use of the separate assembling units increases production costs of the safety helmet.
- a support holder 150 provided on a rear portion of the head support 140 to support the back of the head of the wearer, extends from the rear portion of the helmet body 100 rearwards and downwards in a diagonal direction. Therefore, when the safety helmet moves on the head of the wearer, both ends of the support holder 150 press the back of the head of the wearer. Thus, the conventional safety helmet may be painful to the wearer.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a safety helmet in which inner elements comprising an impact absorbing unit, a head support, a support band and a chin strap are simultaneously fastened to a plurality of bolt locking protrusions provided on an inner surface of a helmet body by a plurality of locking bolts, thus increasing workability and productivity in the process of assembling the safety helmet, and in which the inner elements are attached to the helmet body by the bolts, thus providing a firm assembly, thereby providing stability for the safety helmet .
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a safety helmet which has a line guide groove provided between the helmet body and the impact absorbing unit, so that a transceiver, installed between the helmet body and the impact absorbing unit, is easily coupled to an outside device, such as a radio, etc. through the line guide groove .
- a further object of the present invention is to provide a safety helmet in which a support holder constituting the head support is parallel at an inner surface thereof to the back of the head of a wearer, thus being convenient to the wearer wearing, and maintaining the safety helmet in stably on the head of the wearer.
- the present invention provides a safety helmet, including: a helmet body; an impact absorbing unit installed in the helmet body; a head support provided in the impact absorbing unit; a support band removably provided in the impact absorbing unit to allow the helmet body to be spaced apart from a head of a user wearing the safety helmet at a predetermined interval; and a chin strap to maintain the safety helmet in a state of being worn on the head.
- the safety helmet further includes a plurality of bolt locking protrusions provided on opposite sides of an inner surface of the helmet body, so that inner elements, which are provided in the helmet body, are locked to the bolt locking protrusions together by a plurality of locking bolts.

- a safety helmet 1 of the present invention includes a helmet body 10, an impact absorbing unit 12 which is installed in the helmet body 10, and a head support 14 which is provided in the impact absorbing unit 12.
- the safety helmet 1 further includes a support band 16 which is removably provided in the impact absorbing unit 12 to allow the helmet body 10 to be spaced apart from the head of a wearer wearing the safety helmet 1 at a predetermined interval .
- the safety helmet 1 further includes a chin strap 18 to maintain the safety helmet 1 in a state of being worn on the head.
- a plurality of bolt locking protrusions 10a are integrally provided both sides of an inner surface of the helmet body 10.
- the bolt locking protrusions 10a protrude inwards while being spaced from each other at predetermined intervals .
- a plurality of locking holes 12a and 14a are respectively provided on opposite side surfaces of both the impact absorbing unit 12 and the head support 14 which are installed in the helmet body 10.
- the plurality of locking holes 12a and 14a correspond to the bolt locking protrusions 10a.
- a locking bolt 11 is tightened into each of the bolt locking protrusions 10a through the locking holes 12a and 14a.
- Both a connector 13b and a transceiver 13 are provided at a predetermined position between the helmet body 10 and the impact absorbing unit 12.
- the connector 13b leads to the outside through a line guide groove 12b which is provided at a predetermined position on the impact absorbing unit 12.
- the connector 13b is easily coupled to a separate device such as a radio (not shown) .
- the transceiver 13 has at an end thereof a coupling hole 13a.
- the transceiver 13 is installed in the helmet body 10 by the locking bolt 11 passing through the coupling hole 13a along with inner elements comprising the impact absorbing unit 12, the head support 14 and the chin strap 18.
- the chin strap 18 is interposed between the impact absorbing unit 12 and opposite sides of the inner surface of the helmet body 10, on which the bolt locking protrusions 10a are provided. The chin strap 18 firmly maintains the safety helmet 1 on the head of the wearer.
- a plurality of through holes 18b is provided on both ends of the chin strap 18 to correspond to both the locking holes 12a of the impact absorbing unit 12 and the locking holes 14a of the head support 14.
- opposite parts of the chin strap 18, which are fastened to opposite sides of the inner surface of the helmet body 10 are coupled to each other by a hook 18a which is provided on the chin strap 18.
- An openable speaker bag 19 is provided on either of the opposite parts of the chin strap 18 to be placed around the ear of the wearer.
- a speaker (not shown) , coupled to the transceiver 13 , is installed in the openable speaker bag 19. As shown in FIG.
- the head support 14 includes a vertical extension part 14c and a horizontal extension part 14d which integrally extend downwards and rearwards from a rear portion of the head support 14.
- the head support 14 further includes a support holder 14b which is provided on the horizontal extension part 14d to adjust an inner diameter of the head support 14. While the wearer wears the safety helmet 1, an inner surface of the support holder 14b comes into close contact with the back of the head of the wearer. Therefore, even though the safety helmet 1 undesirably moves on the head during work, the support holder 14b does not press or irritate the back of the head, but is comfortable and stable to the wearer.
- the reference numeral 17 denotes a safety net to stably support the head of the wearer.
- the process of assembling the safety helmet 1 is as follows. As shown in FIG. 1, the impact absorbing unit 12, the support band 16 provided in the impact absorbing unit 12, the head support 14 and the chin strap 18 are sequentially installed in the helmet body 10.
- the above-mentioned inner elements are fastened together to the bolt locking protrusions 10a, which are provided on opposite sides of the inner surface of the helmet body 10, by the locking bolts 11 tightened into the bolt locking protrusions 10a after passing through the locking holes 12a and 14a and the through hole 18b of the inner elements .
- the transceiver 13 is provided between the helmet body 10 and the impact absorbing unit 12.
- the transceiver 13 is fastened to the bolt locking protrusion 10a along with the inner elements while the locking bolt 11 continuously passes through the coupling hole 13a which is provided on the end of the transceiver 13.
- the connector 13b, coupled to the transceiver 13, is easily led to the outside through the line guide groove 12b provided at the predetermined position on the impact absorbing unit 12.
- the inner elements are simultaneously fastened to the helmet body 10 through one fastening process using the locking bolts 11 and the bolt locking protrusions 10a provided on the inner surface of the helmet body 10. Therefore, the process of assembling the safety helmet 1 is very simplified, thus increasing workability and productivity of the safety helmet 1. Furthermore, the inner elements are firmly fastened to the helmet body 10 by the locking bolts 11.
- the safety helmet 1 provides the stability to the wearer while being worn on the head of the wearer.
- the safety helmet 1 efficiently protects the wearer's head from outside impact.
- the transceiver 13, provided between the impact absorbing unit 12 and the inner surface of the helmet body 10 is simply coupled to a separate device, such as the radio (not shown) , by the connector 13b which leads to the outside from the transceiver 13 through the line guide groove 12b. Therefore, the safety helmet 1 is convenient to the wearer and has enhanced reliability.
- the present invention provides a safety helmet in which inner elements comprising an impact absorbing unit, a head support, a support band and a chin strap are fastened to a plurality of bolt locking protrusions provided on an inner surface of a helmet body by a plurality of locking bolts, thus increasing workability and productivity in the process of assembling the safety helmet, and increasing the stability of the safety helmet through the bolt coupling structure.
- a transceiver installed in the safety helmet, is easily coupled to a connector through a line guide groove of the impact absorbing unit. Therefore, the safety helmet of the present invention has an additional function, thereby being convenient to a wearer.

Abstract
Cette invention concerne un casque de sécurité à structure améliorée dont les divers éléments constitutifs se montent de façon simple et rapide dans une coque (10). Le casque de sécurité comprend une coque (10), une unité d'absorption des chocs (12), une coiffe (14), une bande serre-tête (16) maintenant un espace déterminé avec la tête de la personne et une mentonnière (18). La coque (10) présente une pluralité de parties saillantes pour vis de fixation (10a) de part et d'autre de sa surface intérieure, l'unité d'absorption des chocs (12), la coiffe (14) et la mentonnière (18) étant fixées au moyen de vis de blocage (11) logées dans les saillies (10a).
