Description

ORDER DELIVERY SYSTEM IN ELECTRONIC COMMERCE USING CONVENIENCE STORE AND METHOD THEREOF
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an order delivery system and method in electronic commerce using a convenience store, and more particularly, to an order delivery system and method in electronic commerce using a convenience store, in which if a local purchaser accesses a corresponding homepage, searches desired merchandise and then inputs a settlement number, settlements are carried out after the settlement number are authenticated, the settlement result is transmitted to the purchaser's mobile and e-mail and a convenience store terminal nearest to the purchaser, and the merchandise is then delivered to the purchaser.
Background Art
In general, a commercial transaction is usually carried out via common stores. In order for a purchaser to buy desired goods, they pass through a plurality of intermediary merchants or companies. In other words, the commercial transaction has a distribution structure in which a manufacturer, a wholesaler, a retailer and a purchaser are sequentially connected. For this reason, there is a great difference in the price between the manufacturer and the purchaser. Recently, there came to appear a warehouse type shop where the purchaser can buy merchandise at a still more cheap price by obviating a complicated distribution structure mentioned above, i.e., a large-scaled discount store or a communication sales company. Due to this, it becomes possible to contrive the purchaser'' s convenience and a low selling price. Moreover, even a convenience store that engages in business for 24 hours comes to appear. Problems in the conventional commercial transaction will now be described in detail. In case of the large-scaled discount store, the price is low but the goods are not delivered when they are a small quantity. Thus, it is required that the purchaser directly do shopping using his or her vehicle. In case of a common supermarket, the goods are delivered. It is required that the purchaser directly select the goods or place an order using the telephone, and the price is high. Moreover, in case of the Internet shopping mall, the purchaser can easily place an order using the telephone or the Internet. However, lots of delivery time is required and the credit card is usually used. Further, if the credit card is lost, there is a danger that an economical loss may be caused. In case of a chain type convenience store, although the head office and respective branch shops are networked, purchase has not yet been made via the Internet. Meanwhile, as the credit society is introduced, almost all the financial transactions are made electronic. Due to this, it affords convenience in the payment and makes the transaction possible without cash. Even with this convenience in the payment, however, there are several problems . For example, if one loses his or her credit card, someone may illegally use the lost credit card. If the lost credit card is illegally settled in a state where the owner of the lost credit card does not know that he or she has lost the credit card, he or she must be responsible for any monetary damage. Thus, the credit card may become a stumbling block to the credit society. Further, in the case where the credit card is lost during delivery from the credit card company to a person concerned, there is a possibility that someone may illegally use the lost credit card. In this case, there is often a case where the credit card is settled at the credit card company or a credit card member store while the person concerned does not know it. In other words, when the credit card is settled at the credit card member store, there is sometimes a case where whether he or she is a real owner of the lost credit card is not confirmed. For this reason, someone may illegally use the lost credit card. Even in the case where one unwillingly lets out a credit card's password, someone may illegally use the credit card. Furthermore, in case of electronic commerce via the Internet, the settlements can be made only with the credit card number or the bank account number. Due to this, the credit card number or bank account number can be fraudulently used. However, there is no other method that a person concerned immediately knows this fact. In case of an automatic transfer of public charges, etc. or an account transfer to other account numbers, the transfer can be easily made if the bank account number and the password are known. Therefore, there are possibilities that the settlements can be made and unwanted transfer can be performed, while a person concerned does not know it. Thus, there is a problem in that illegal banking transaction may occur.
Disclosure of Invention Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide an order delivery system in electronic commerce using a convenience store, which can supplement a problem in settlements using the credit card by allowing the payment to be made after confirming a purchaser' s order details and settlement number, can give a trust to the purchaser by transmitting a receipt proof to the purchaser and the settlement details to the purchaser' s mobile and e-mail and a convenience store terminal nearest to the purchaser, when the purchaser buys merchandise, and can provide a 24 hours and year-round delivery service and allows any defective goods to be rapidly returned and exchanged, since nation-wide convenience stores are used. If the purchaser accesses the electronic commerce integrated management system server, a main screen is displayed. The purchaser clicks on a company's banner broadcasting displayed on the screen to move to the company homepage (S10) . The purchaser searches the goods on the homepage to select desired goods, and then places an order for the goods (S20) . After placing the order for the goods in step S20, the purchaser inputs a settlement number such as an account number, a credit card number, etc. in order to receive the ordered goods (S30) . Next, in step S40, the inputted settlement number of the purchaser and the settlement number of the purchaser transmitted from the electronic commerce integrated management system server are compared in the transaction confirmation and authentication system through the banking company and the authenticated result is again transmitted to the electronic commerce integrated management system server. If the result authenticated in the transaction confirmation and authentication system is transmitted to the electronic commerce integrated management system server, the electronic commerce integrated management system server transmits the purchaser' s order details and settlement details to the convenience store terminal and determines whether there is any problem in the authentication (S50) . If there is no problem as a result of the determination in step S50, the electronic commerce integrated management system server allows the settlement system to perform a settlement request and transmits the result to the convenience store terminal (S51) . If there is any problem in the authentication, the electronic commerce integrated management system server transmits a command to stop the transaction to the convenience store terminal (S52). If a transaction is desired to perform, the process returns to step S10. After the settlements are made in the settlement system, the authentication contents are transmitted to the electronic commerce integrated management system server (S70) . In step 70, the electronic commerce integrated management system server transmits the settlement details and order details for the goods to the purchaser' s e-mail and the convenience store terminal nearest to the purchaser. At the same time, the server transmits the contents to the purchaser' s mobile through the communication network provider. Further, after the settlement details and order details are transmitted to the convenience store terminal, a receipt where the receipt date and detailed order contents are written is transmitted to the purchaser and the goods are delivered to the purchaser (S80) . In step S80, the goods are delivered to the purchaser either from the convenience store or the delivery company. If there is a defect in the goods after the delivery, the goods are exchanged at the convenience store or the delivery company, which is nearest to the purchaser.
Industrial Applicability
As described above, according to the order delivery system and method in electronic commerce using the convenience store, the payment is made after confirming a purchaser's order details and settlement number. It is thus possible to supplement a problem in the settlements of the credit card. Further, where the purchaser purchases merchandise, a receipt proof accordingly is transmitted to the purchaser and the settlement details are transmitted to the purchaser's mobile and e-mail and a convenience store terminal nearest to the purchaser. Thus, it gives a trust to the purchaser. Moreover, as nation-wide convenience stores are used, a 24 hours and year-round delivery service can be provided and any defective goods can be rapidly returned and exchanged. While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
