  • a combined writing implement and stylus pen includes: a nut 40 movable back and forth, the nut 40 being spline -coupled to a housing 32 and connected to a pen point extending and retracting member 36 of a writing implement 30 by a holder 34; a rotatable cap 42 of a hollow type connected to an end of the nut 40 in a freely rotatable fashion and in such a fashion that its axial movement is restricted; a slide screw 44 screwed with a female screw portion 40s formed on the nut 40 and spline -coupled to the rotatable cap 42; and a touch tip 46 mounted at an end of the slide screw 44, the touch tip 46 being outwardly extendable and inwardly retractable through the center of the rotatable cap 42.
  • a buffer spring 80 is interposed between the housing 32 and the nut 40 in order to suck excessive pressure transferred from the touch tip 46.

  • the touch tip 46 has an annular protrusion 46b formed on the inner periphery thereof, the protrusion 46b being held and fixed to an annular groove 40b formed on the outer periphery of t he boss 40a.

  • the rotatable cap 42 and the nut 40 are coupled with each other only in a rotatable condition. Because the rotatable cap 42 and the slide screw 44 are spline -coupled to each other, for instance, in a hexagonal form, the slide screw 44 is rotated t ogether with the rotatable cap 42, and at the same time, moved axially in order to extend the touch tip 46 outwardly. After that, when the holding jaw 44t formed on the slide screw 44 is in contact with the end of the rotatable cap 42, the slide screw 44 c annot moved axially anymore. At this time, as shown in FIG. 6, when the user clicks icons or moves the touch tip 46 while touching the touch tip 46 onto the touch panel 92 in a state where the user holds the writing implement 30 upside down to direct the touch tip 46 in the downward direction, the present invention can be used as the stylus pen.
  • the preloaded spring 50 repelled between the nut 40 and the slide screw 44 through the holder 36 is preloaded in order to always extend the slide screw 44 outwardly, so that the preloaded spring 50 can prevent the lateral movement of the slide screw 44 due to loose -fitting between the nut 40 and the slide screw 44, thereby preventing the lateral movement of the touch tip 46 and providing the user with a good writing feeling.
  • the buffer spring 80 interposed between the housing 32 and the nut 40 serves to relieve excessive pressure applied to the touch tip 46 so as to prevent damage of the surface of the touch panel 92. That is, when the user con tacts the touch tip 46 with the touch panel 92 with power exceeding the repelling power of the buffer spring 80, the repelling power is transferred to the buffer spring 80 through the touch tip 46, the slide screw 44 and the nut 40, and compresses the buffer spring 80. As a result, the buffer spring 80 can prevent damage of the surface of the touch panel 92, and evening the pressure irregularly applied to the touch tip 46 during the use of the stylus pen.
  • the slide screw 44 is moved inwardly in the axial direction, and the touch tip 46 mounted at the end of the slide screw 44 is retracted into the rotatable cap 42.

  • the liquid perfume 70 stored in the perfume storing chamber 72 is gradually sucked into t he touch tip 46 by a capillary phenomenon and emitted into the air in order to emit a sweet fragrance. If pressure and friction force are applied to the touch tip 46, it facilitates emission of the perfume, so that more perfume is emitted in the air durin g the use of the writing implement.
