Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von massgenauem Metallschaum aus schaumfähigem, pulvermetallurgisch hergestelltem Metallhalbzeug mit einem Schmelzpunkt > 200°C mit: Einbringen von bei T > 200°C schaumfähigem Material in eine bis zum Schmelzpunkt des schaumfähigen Materials hitzebeständige Form mit einem Ausdehnungskoeffizienten von weniger als 3 K-1, bevorzugt < 1 K-1; gesteuertem Erhitzen des schaumfähigen Materials in der Form unter Aufschäumen durch in der Energieabgabe gesteuerte Strahler, die auf oder durch die Form angewendet werden und Entformen des so aufgeschäumten Schaums sowie eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung von massgenauen thermisch geschäumten Metallschaumteilen, die: eine dünnwandige, bei der Schmelztemperatur des Metallschaums stabile Kokille mit einem Ausdehnungskoeffizienten von < 3 K-1, eine steuerbare Bestrahlungseinrichtung und eine Steuerung, die aufgrund der Messung einer Strahlungsmesseinrichtung die Bestrahlungseinrichtung steuert, aufweist.
