Abstract

L'invention concerne une cosse de batterie (1), notamment pour batterie d'automobile (2), de tension supérieure à par exemple 12 volt, qui présente une borne de raccordement (4) située sur un câble (3), qui est en prise par liaison de force et/ou de forme avec le pôle de la batterie (5), en position d'utilisation. A cet effet, la borne de raccordement (4) se présente approximativement sous forme de godet ou de cloche, pour enserrer le pôle de la batterie (5) par le haut et par les côtés. Ladite borne de raccordement est entourée, côté extérieur, par une partie de boîtier (6) consistant en un matériau isolant, au moins au niveau de sa surface. A cet effet, ladite partie de boîtier (6) peut être déplacée dans le sens axial par rapport à la borne de raccordement (4), cette dernière (4) faisant saillie de la partie de boîtier (6), en position de desserrage, dans le sens axial. En position d'utilisation, la paroi extérieure de la borne de raccordement (4) est sollicitée par la paroi intérieur de la partie de boîtier (6). La borne de raccordement (4) peut de ce fait être comprimée dans le sens radial et sa face intérieure peut être comprimée contre la face extérieure du pôle de batterie (5).
