Dazu wird bei dem bekannten Wäscheständer seitlich an einer Strebe des Gestellrahmens ein Wäscheklammerbehälter befestigt. Bei diesem bekannten Wäscheständer ist außerdem vorgesehen, etwas unterhalb der eigentlichen Auflagebereiche für die zu trocknende Wäsche ein Zusatzaufhängegitter anzuordnen, welches die Möglichkeit bietet, dort weitere Wäschestücke zum Trocknen abzulegen. Dieses Zusatzaufhängegitter befindet sich allerdings an der Ouerseite des Gestells etwa in halber Höhe und ist nicht so bequem erreichbar.
